Teams are going to lose, it simply comes with the territory.  To Lheorvine Adebisi, they key is not to let the loss linger too long in the psyche.  A loss can help focus a player and a team.  It can help them identify weaknesses, review mistakes, and if nothing else the pure feeling of loss is one to be avoided.  But at some point the loss has to be put into the past, lest a losing mentality take over where plays and actions are second guessed, decision making slows down, and the team as a whole loses confidence in itself.  In that area is where Adebisi shines.  He is willing to let his teammates feel a loss for a while, but there comes a moment where its time to get back to work, to get ready for the next game, the next season.  He isn't one to simply say "on to next week," but he does help his teammates keep the lesson of what went wrong without reliving the sting of it.

Booter McGavin does one thing every single time after a loss... blame everyone and everything else besides himself. Booter may start by complaining about the referees or how his long snapper or holder blew the game for team, and he is inevitably going to work his way to something like the wind or weather. While this may not motivate his team to do better the next game, it does help Booter move on from a bad performance. By focusing on the negatives outside of his own performance, Booter is able to instead keep positive energy about his kicking game and focus on how he can bring consistent results to the team. Given Booter has had two of his best seasons over the past 2 years, it is clear his blame everyone else strategy is working. Thankfully, his teammates are true professionals and are able to tune out much of Booters's complaining and instead focus on their own performance.

A loss can evoke many feelings.  I see this game as having four states.  Having a good game and winning, having a good game and losing, having a bad game and winning, and having a bad game and losing.  When Kronk has a good game and wins, he feels on top of the world.  Not much better than feeling like you carried the team to victory with your individual play.  When Kronk has a good game and loses, it is frustrating.  It proves that he cannot carry the team by himself, and the team must be good to succeed, which begs the question why try?  When Kronk has a bad game and wins, it similarly feels like "why try if the team even needs me"?  But when Kronk has a bad game and loses, it's almost as if the team cant win without him, which is a very nice boost to the ego

This is always the toughest challenge in a long season. No team will win every game and figuring out how to bounce back from a loss is as easy as making the sim team reset your morale to 50. No matter how hard the loss is, I know that by the time next game starts, I’ll be back to my self. Unfortunately, it’s also just as hard to maintain momentum. Dominating win against a rival? Back to 50. Squeaking out an OT win against a bad team? Back to 50. So thank you to the sim team who keeps us constant. It really can’t be stated enough. These guys and gals have solved the biggest problem with real life losing. Literally click a button and forget about it. The loss has no impact on how well we perform in the next game. If there was a way to sell this strategy in real life, the sim team would be millionaires.

SkibidiGyat Ohiorizzler doesn't take it too hard after his team takes a loss, after all, he's only focused on his personal performance within the game. It certainly helps to have his mindset because the Colorado Yeti have yet to win a single game. Fortunately, there isn't much cheering up to be done because everyone on the team knew what they were signing up for when they joined. With the oldest QB in the league and with one of the youngest rosters, the Colorado Yeti weren't going to be doing much of anything this season. However, when OhioRizzler does perform poorly in a game, he does take it personally. But he chooses to use his anger in a positive direction, that being to train even harder than ever before. He's looking to get his passes defensed numbers up, so he enlists Tim Riggins to do 1v1s with him. OhioRizzler is a little slow, so he does sometimes get beat, but most of the time he is able to stick with him, and it's a real confidence booster.

Life isn't going to be 100% easy being part of this HON team right now, but the determination that we all have has been able to help us along the way. Everyone knows what's going on here, I don't think it's the biggest ISFL secret. But as we build up the locker room, and build up this great team we are looking into the future and getting to see what this team can do. It's been a slow rebuild process, but throughout all of the losses that we have, nobody here has ever given up. Our perseverance has helped us keep going throughout this situation, we have some fantastic GMs around us who have been the cornerstone in making sure that nobody on this team gives up, and they will be the reason in the future that this team goes on to win so many championships/ultiminis. With the way it's looking our patience and determination will help us in the end and HON will be the place that everyone wants to go. The ranch man in particular is excited for the journey and is willing to help his team in any way possible.

Every team regardless of expectations has had a dumb, undeserved loss that tilts everyone in the locker room. For NOLA, we just had that type of loss last week on the road against the heavily rebuilding Copperheads. The loss wasn't devastating as we are still first in the conference, but the loss was annoying none the less. To destress individually, I went to the beach and decided to take the weekend off in order to take my mind off the loss, destress, and to refocus on our goal of winning a ring this season. To pickup the team, we decided to blow some steam with some classic UNO and some Among Us. After those games, I also decided to treat the team to a full lunch at the team's favorite restaurant in order to not only bond as a team but remind all of us what our team goal is and to forget the annoying distraction of this dumb loss.
