Interviewer: Thank you for sitting down with us and answering some questions Mr. Dangerson.

Dangerson: Well I didn't have much of anything else to do since our season is over, well beside putting off scouting.

Interviewer: well let's get into that, 9-7 and not in the playoffs how are the wraiths dealing with it?

Dangerson: About as well as any team who had high hopes for the season can, the distracting thing is the constant sounds and explosions coming out of Zenzeroni.  Watching him process all his emotions and his delusions of how the team isn't Ultimus bound with the worlds best kicker at the helm is entertaining.

Interviewer: is having a teammate as completely unhinged as him a distraction?

Dangerson: it's a good distraction, it doesn't pull any focus away from the important things.  It's easy to keep focused and in line, the distraction is allowing us not to focus and fall down the path of a pessimistic point of view because we can just watch him process and explode about everything and it allows the rest of us to just accept it and move on. Like channeling all those emotions into him and then we can keep it light hearted.  Best teammate I've ever had, he takes the scrutiny away from the rest of us so we can easily shut our the noise and let him be all the noise.  The man is a public relations genius.  So glad he is on my team, wouldn't want to be on a team with out him.

Looking back on your season, what do you feel was your best performance?

My best performances has to have been my week 3 showing against the Honolulu Hahaluas. I managed to wrack up my season high in tackles, coming in at 9. After that showing my average tackles per game was pretty high for a rookie, and I was really excited about what I potentially could do moving forward. Unfortunately, things fell off from there and I ended the season with less than 5 tackles per game. Having a game where I nearly doubled my season average in tackles definitely takes the cake as my best performance of the year, though.

What moves do you hope Austin makes in the draft or free agency?

I really hope Austin just keeps developing our offensive core. Our defense, while not perfect, is actually pretty okay. Although we may start to see regression hit, we have multiple stars keeping us going. We more so need to focus on offense. Our young wrs should improve and we just have to build around them. Jay Cue probably has a few more years in him, so no need to reach on a QB, although taking one sooner rather than later isn't an awful idea. Otherwise, we just need to build the offensive talent and make sure we have young depth at every position so that when our window opens we don't have regressing players galore.

What do you predict for next season?

Next season I think we make a run for a playoff spot. There are too many strong teams for me to be so bold as to say we get one, but we at least will be in consideration a la Sarrasota this year. Should be a team to watch out for looking forward!

Johnny Blaze Jr, veteran WR for the Sarasota Sailfish was kind enough to sit down and speak with the Sarasota Sentinel following the conclusion of the Sailfish's season.

SS: Johnny, what are your thoughts on this season and your future in the league?

JBJ: I wish that we could've done more out there. I wish that I could've done more. We had so many close ones. The ball bounces the other way a few times and we're a top seed this season. As far as my future in the league, that's a great question. I've been doing this for a long time now. My production hasn't matched the expectation.

Blaze Jr was cordial during his interview with us, and politely more than a few times declined to answer definitively if he plans to play next season. If this is the last we've seen from him, he will go out as one of the best players to never win an Ultimus. Does he have one more run in the tank? Or has Blaze's career been extinguished?
