Hello my fellow ISFL players. My name is Tank McGibbons, and today I come before you, a humble prospect, but one who can clearly see what must be done. I am hear to ask for your vote for me to be the next GM. Why, you are likely asking yourself, should I vote for an unproven prospect when there are so many competent, experienced options out there? Well, the answer is simple. Tegridy.

I'm just a simple farmer. I wake up early to do my chores, and live a life guided by tegridy. What is tegridy you ask? I'm glad you did. Tegridy is the dew on the grass in the early morning, it's the hopeful gleam in a child's eye, it's the feeling you get after a hard day's work. Tegridy is doing what you say, when you say you'll do it.

I may be unproven on the playing field, this is true. But I have been proven time and time again in the farm field. My fellow ISFLers, it seems clear to me that I am one of the best options you have. And you are so lucky to have so many great options.

Campaigning for GM of the Sailfish mid-playoff run? Sure, let’s do it. As the current GM of the Sarasota Sailfish, there is only one person I think could do a better job than me and take the Sailfish back to the championship, and that person is also ME! As an experienced GM, I could step right in and take the lead of the team without any hiccup or rough transition process. My experience with Sarasota specifically also means that I have already built a rapport with the existing members of the team and can use that to bring excitement and activity to the team from day one. Also, with Sarasota trying to rebound from missing the playoffs last season, they likely want a GM with playoff experience at the helm. Well, I’ve got you covered there as well as I’ve only missed the playoffs one time in my time as a GM in the ISFL. Vote abh89 for Sailfish GM!

If I were GM, I wouldn't even focus on the team. I'd put all my effort into disrupting other teams. That's right. Forged emails, fake news, made-up stories, you name it, I'm doing it. Draft picks? Who needs 'em. They'll be traded for players that will help us win now. Salary cap? C'mon. Everyone knows that doesn't exist. I'll hand out monster deals to mediocre players in order to cripple positional markets and force good teams to offload their stars they can no longer pay.

One thing I'd be very focused on is community service. I mean the community serving me, of course. There won't be a tax loophole on or off the books that I won't use. Due to how many picks we'll be giving away, the team will qualify as a charity, and not pay taxes. How's that for saving on salary cap? I'll pay myself a modest yearly salary of $10,000,000 (taxpayer funded, obviously).

Lastly, scouting. The new rule is that all scouting is done through youtube highlight reels. Whoever makes the sickest plays makes the team. Simple enough.

As the current GM of the Bondi Beach Buccaneers, what more does Tim Glims need to do to prove he deserves to remain GM? Everyone wanted playoffs and a GM switch after constant tirades of "FIRE GLIMS!", but yet, Tim Glims has done everything the team has asked of him! Make playoffs? We're in! Change GMs? Hayasaka was fired and McThumper was hired! Sure, maybe Tim could be a bit nicer and stop kicking his kicker, but with results like these, why change anything at all? It's clear that Tim Glim's vision for the team is not only working, but it's working VERY well. Sure, there's probably a lot of people on the team or in the world that could also be very well qualified for the GM job, but to Tim, results speak more than promises. And no one has produced more results over promises than Tim Glims. Though, that's more so because he doesn't make promises. Regardless, Tim is a proven GM, and one Bondi Beach will have to get used to! And if ya still wanna fire him, than he'll gladly see you and anyone else in the squared circle any day of the week.

Being a GM would be absolutely awesome, definitely a dream but it has to be at the right time and team for it to work out. I think at this moment in time AUS has the right general manager for the job. We are currently in a deep rebuild but all fingers point towards success with us finishing with a better record this season than last and we have plenty of talent that’s just getting better and plenty of talent that we still need to call up to the big time. Rebuilds are fun but I’m not sure I could have managed it this well and thus my campaign for GM if I even tried would be defeated just by looking at the improvements the team has made this far and the improvements and ability this team has just by looking in the near future. So yeah no point I’m campaigning, immediate L (153)
