Only being here for 3 seasons, there haven't been a lot of trade deadline deals that were league altering. There was one trade, however, that always sticks with me when asked about big trades that happened in the NSFL. That trade was:

Liberty receive:
The better of the S10 1st COL / S10 1st NOLA
S10 2nd NOLA
S9 3rd YKW (from NOLA)
WR - Stormblessed ($1m)
DT - Omar Wrong ($2m)

NOLA receive:
The worse of the S10 1st COL / S10 1st NOLA
S9 4th PHI
TE - Paul DiMirio ($3m)
DT - Godfrey King ($2m)
$2m in S8 Salary Cap from PHI

This is a trade I remember because the Liberty had just won the Ultimus Trophy and as a new member, I was shocked that they had traded away one of their best players in Paul DiMirio. It was odd that the team that had just won the Championship was going into a full rebuild. This trade always helped propel the Second Line into Championship contention which eventually led to them winning the Championship in Season 9. The league changed a whole lot after this trade. The Liberty went into a full teardown, finishing low in the standings and still struggling this season, winless so far. For New Orleans, this trade was the signal to the rest of the league that they were ready to become the top dog. Since the trade, they've been the best team in the NSFL and have showed no signs of slowing down this season. They overtook the Otters as the class of the league and it was all started by this huge trade at the deadline in Season 8.
