This is my thing too. Including all the other discord channels I am in as part of the league, general is on mute cause I don't need 50+ notifications of new messages when I'm spending time with my family or friends.

Wait, you have notifications active for every channel, so that every message (even those without tagging you or @everyone) give you a "red" notification?
