Maybe not do this for every single game, but we could do it for the playoffs?
That way players on teams that didn't make the playoffs can stay invested and involved in the games

or we could do it every few weeks, like one in week 1, one in week 5, one in week 9, so on and so forth, and do one for the playoffs

While its an intriguing suggestion, I don't think this is a good idea. It has far more obstacles and I don't see it working in this league.

So I looked into it. 25 points difference in ELO translate to one point spread. So since I will already do ELO projections, I could very easily do this. I could do it as a league thing or just as a personal thing. I would be open to keeping a yearly tally, with people not required to join but those who want can. Maybe give the best pickers a bonus at the end, like a cash prize, either from the league or my own pocket. Thoughts?

Perfect example why this is a bad idea.
