Otters were starting 2 inactives and 3 rookies in their front seven last season. Verns was a result of him constantly having to make the tackle every time the RB blew through the line for 6+ yards. It will normalize significantly this season with some guys moving to Dline to replace inactives and last season's rookies Boom and Osullivan making significant gains in TPE.

To piggy back on this, after seeing their crazy statistical output I ran some sims with me a LB. I didn't put up anywhere near their numbers in a defense with a bunch of actives in the front 7.

If only they could become actives....already with Clegane and Winchester moving to defense if we could have a Petrakis or a Kronen come back.....oh the Outlaws wouldn't stand a chance baby.

One thing I'll point out is that it can be dangerous to compare sim stats to NFL stats. I'm consistently guilty of it because the NFL is our frame of reference but this sim won't always allow apples-to-apples comparisons due to the simulation itself, our league's specific TPE distribution, parity among teams and schedules, and so on being so much different than real life.
