Kyubee is starting. Plus, I don't think 3 displaced players is reason for an expansion.

Kybee I believe does, and Kennedy will be on the field for at least 50% of snaps

Kennedy plays for you guys and he would've been our top back last year, as well as SJS. OC could use him since they use 2 RBs.

Who can't start?
Last expansion the Otters lost 4 players in the first 5 rounds of expansion draft. Our team was destroyed. We had 10 players to protect (including GMs). So if this happened again, who do we protect?
Bavitz, Osullivan, Clegane, Winchester, Boom, Wright Jr, Westfield, Phelps, Boss, Spector?
That means the guys unprotected are Burnsman, Verns (IA), Brosullivan, Shaka (IA), Kronen (IA), Petrakis (IA), Madlad (kind of IA).
I'll just go out on a limb here and say we lose Burnsman, Verns, Kronen, and Petrakis. So now we have zero running backs (Jiggly retired) and we lose 3 inactive DBs that were all in the 200-400 TPE range.
So yes, we will be starting bots or very fresh rookies. In four positions.

we also have 40+ players coming in with the S5 draft and probably around that number every year with maybe 5 people retiring each year (besides recreates)? I think it could be implemented for S6.

Most of those drafted in S5 will likely go back down to the DSFL for a second year. That's kind of why the DSFL was invented, so guys get starting time. If we expand, the DSFL becomes useless again.
I would wait until very least end of S6 to see what the league looks like before considering adding another team.
