That was my thought as well.
However other people we're kind of concerned that we would be pulling people away from the forum if we tried to get really active on the sub.
Anyways with how much discord is used in the league, I don't think that concern is really valid anymore.

As for the recruitment aspect of this announcement I would like to bring up fatigue. I really don't think we should recruit every single offseason. Eventually the reddit mods will tire of us and delete the posts, or the users who frequent the site will just be inundated with the same post every month and a half. They'll start to ignore it or downvote it and move on.

The goal is to expand from reddit. This is why I'm asking for creative people to apply. I want people to brainstorm with on new ways and new places to be recruiting. I think there's room for innovation.

I don't know every single place you guys have recruited but what about some NFL forums? Just a quick search for a bengals forum got me one that has 217 active Posts in the last 60 mins and 2,264 members online in the last 24 hours http://thebengalsboard.com this seems like it could be a great place to get some visibility.
