What about a strengths and weaknesses implementation for archetypes like the SHL does. Now I know it's different sim and all and a different sport but maybe

We did archetypes instead of doing strengths and weaknesses

Yea I get that. Don't they sort of have archetypes built around strengths and weaknesses in SHL? I mean we are more or less accomplishing the same thing. I just like discussing this stuff

No, the only difference between their builds is which strengths and weaknesses you have, which is only three statistics. Even your weakness can go up to 85 so my maxed build was 99 in three stats, 85 in one, and 90 in the rest. Definitely not what we want here

Yea I understand that. But based on the build you choose you are sort of limited to which strengths and weaknesses you can choose. Like a Dman has to have Defense as one of his strengths. I don't see why you wouldn't but it's still a restriction of the build.

Yeah, but even so the rest of your attributes can go to 90, and your weakness can go to 85

yea for sure I don't want to follow it exactly, way too OP for DT and other positions. Was just talking about that kind of idea floating about

Well, there are fairly fast DTs in the NFL and only a handful of DTs in our league that may be eligible to get that extra boost of speed or whatever attribute they would choose.

Everyone has the ability to use this oppirtunity but everyone doesn't have the means to do so. Using the NFL as an example, not everybody is willing to spend $300K for training like James Harrison, it's really the same concept.
