Toxic had a tough time readjusting to football after tearing his ACL in his sophomore year at Duke. After many months of careful rehab, just getting back up to game speed at the college level was tough enough. With plenty of time in the weight room as well as working incredibly hard on improving his reflexes, Toxic came back better than ever for his junior year. After dominating the ACC, Toxic and the rest of the Blue Devil defense cleaned up in the Orange Bowl before falling hard against Georgia in the National Championship.

With an injury-free and dominant season under his belt, Toxic looks towards the DSFL, skipping his final year of eligibility to head straight to the pro level. Some analysts are concerned his injury history, combined with his playstyle of a finesse rusher almost purely built around speed, may come back to bite him if he loses a step. However, Toxic has serious momentum behind him, and he feels like he can dominate at the pro level just like he did in college. He's ready to come into a team and turn their defense from a weakness into an incredible strength.

Going in to year 2 with the austin copperheads, Brandon is feeling good. The team performed great the first half of last season before sliding out of the playoff race. Brandon himself had a decent rookie season. he and the copperheads are coming back with vengeance. A goal for the team is to make the playoffs after barely missing out last year. Then hopefully making a run to win the ultimus. They are looking bigger and stronger than last year. Brandon has put a goal on himself to perform better than he did last year stat wise. He wants 75 pancakes (had 59 last year) and fewer sacks allowed (gave up 3 last year). And with that, he wants to finished within the top 10 to 15 in both stat categories for all people users (excluding bots). This is important to him to let austin know they make the right pick and show what the other teams past up on.

Currently a rookie within the DSFL, so looking to develop nicely until I can hopefully get drafted into the future. This would mean hard work through practise during the week, learning the gameplan for the weekend, and hopefully helping the defence make crucial stops in order to let our offence take control and win us the football game. Personally, I wouldn't mind getting a few sacks as a DE, showing off my ability as a pass rusher. But the main in-game goal is consistently getting QB pressures to force the ball out and create incomplete passes and turnovers. This will be done by increasing my strength training (already have benched 225 25+ reps in one sitting in the gym, aiming for 30 at the combine) as well as speed and agility through shuttle runs and cone sprints. Hopefully all this hard work will result in a breakout season with the Coyotes, leading to being drafted into the ISFL.

New Year can't come soon enough for Akaki Akarye. He always loved New Year parties. Every year he makes a list of things that he wants to accomplish in a coming year. This year was successful for him in terms of fulfilling his plans, cause not only Akaki got drafted to ISFL but he also managed to win the Ultimus (even twice!). He keeps plans for the next year to himself and doesn't want to share them publicly, cause Akaki believes that such things can jinx his wishes. But you can say for sure that these plans will involve more winning for his team and maybe some personal awards for himself. The last year was hard but Akaki saw a lot of success, so he is ready to put in some hard work that the next year will be even better. And now is the time to get ready for New Year party, hard work can wait for a couple of days

For new years my first goal is to celebrate the holiday with my wife. we've started a tradition of making our own home made pasta to cook on new years eve for dinner. We also need to make our ginger bread house that we baked, but haven't put together yet. we've both been sick a for a week now. i think we are both battling bronchitis. beyond the short term we are considering buying a house, but need to wait for our new job hiring paper work. we both recently accepted new positions, and want to use our increased income to qualify for a loan. unfortunately we have already fallen in love with a home we found on zillo. so we're praying and hoping we can get our paper work figured out and receive the loan approval before the house sells. It would be a huge life step for both of us as neither of us have lived in the same location for more than a year.

Quote:Written option: Now that Christmas is over, you now have to prepare for New Year's! Describe the goals you or your player hope to accomplish and why it's important to you.

This Christmas, Matthew Mara excitedly took time away from the team to spend the holidays with his immediate family and those who he hasn't seen in ages. The Mara household was abundant with all of the Christmas goodies that one can imagine. Cookies of all types, chocolates, chips, assorted candies and nuts, and pretty much anything that contains some sort of salt or sugar. Unfortunately for the Silverbacks, Matthew indulged in pretty much all of those sweets and found himself needing to unbutton his pants and move the notch on his belt to one size larger. So for New Years, Mara is vowing to hit the gym harder than ever and work off those extra calories that he spoiled himself with.

The trick to that plan is to avoid the New Years eve parties and all those high calorie alcoholic beverages that always seem to show up. But then again, New Years eve isn't really the new year, so a few couldn't hurt. Right?
