It’s that time of year again! The annual Seawolves white elephant gift exchange. Miller Light is known for bringing a case of Miller Light and wrapping it to look like something else. This time, the 29 cans of Miller Light is arranged in the shape of a guitar (Light took one for good measure). As for the gift exchange, Light participates in the gift exchange under the mantra, “if you’re not stealing, you’re not playing”. He routinely steals the biggest gift just to bother his teammates, and the veterans on the team often put in more extravagant gifts (cars, tickets to Fiji, etc.) This year, Light’s final steal was a large 18’x24’ box. When it came time to unwrap it, he was disappointed to find a three year supply of toilet paper. With no spending limit, there is clearly wide variation in the gifts. To his left and right his teammates were gifted a Ferrari and a cruise to Alaska. Oh well, at least it was 2-ply.

Code:
Written option: Your team has decided to throw a white elephant gift swap. What would your player bring, and what would they try to steal? How would all of your teammates interact during the party?

When Freduci was invited to the Bondi Beach white elephant gift exchange he was at a bit of a loss of what to contribute to the circle of gifts. Freduci had grown up relatively poor in the more poverty stricken areas of California, so to now be considered a multi-millionaire after being drafted in a developmental league the entire concept of bringing expensive gifts for his teammate was foreign to him.

He eventually opted to bring one of the limited edition Santa Cruz x Pokemon mystery boards that were released earlier this year, as they had sold out so quickly that no one was able to procure themselves some.

While opening the gifts prior to the steal round one gift had immediately caught his eye and that was a pair of PowerPuff Girl x Nike SB shoe crossover, more specifically the Bubbles edition of them. Once they had been locked on Freduci did everything necessary to secure himself the set.

White elephant gift swap. The chop brings the heat this year with a fire terrible gift. He presents to the group a portable bidet aka the super tushy cleaner explore edition. When you're on the go and gotta go this is the gift for you. I'm sure it would be a very popular item. Chopper's friend group also brought a variety of funny gifts. Chopper is a sucker for sweets, and when one of the other members of the group reveals a singular dum-dum (wrapped inside a refrigerator box of course) Chopper leaps at the opportunity to secure the sweet treat. Many other group members brought gag gifts and the portable bidet was a surprisingly popular item. Hiking must be on the horizon for some of them. In the end I believe they would all have a great time interacting with each other and try to lift each other up despite London's poor performance on the field.

OOOH YEAH, DIG IT! Rush Hardman, the tower of power, too sweet to be sour, is stepping into the ISFL's wildest white elephant gift swap, yeah! Not bound by any team, he's the free spirit, the cream of the crop rising to the top. What's he bringing, you ask? A vintage, autographed Jersey from way back in S25, worn by the man the myth the legend himself, Damon Blackfyre, oozing with charisma, just like him. This isn’t just any jersey, it’s a statement, a declaration that Rush Hardman is ready to take on the world, yeah!

Now, what's Hardman got his eyes on? There's this epic, game worn helmet, worn by an old legend, Wasrabi Gleel, glimmering across the room, calling his name. It's not just any helmet, it's the symbol of being the best, the undisputed champ of the gift swap. He's gonna snatch it, claim it as his rightful prize, because that's what winners do.

The party's wild, yeah. Rookies buzzing around in a frenzy. One's trying to swap a set of dumbbells, another's brought a life-sized cardboard cutout of Gus Bus. Laughter, friendly jokes, and competitive gift claiming fill the room. Hardman, he's in his element, mingling, joking, his charisma shining brighter than the tinsel on the tree. He's making alliances, plotting strategies to secure that helmet. It's a game within a game, and Rush Hardman, the Man of the hour, is playing to win.

Morley was pretty excited for this years White Elephant gift exchange with the Chicago Butchers. This season was going a little better than the previous several, and everyone seemed to have a little bit more holiday cheer. Just seeing everyone on the team being merry and bright made Morley's heart grow three sizes. Morley watched as gifts were opened and passed around. Some of the gifts were lame pranks like lewd suckers (the kind you get a SPENCERS), some were cool (like the $50 BBQ Joe gift card), but one gift that got opened had Morley's full attention - A nice bottle of Hennessy V.S.O.P - his favorite adult beverage. It got passed around twice - one more before it was off the table - and Morley was just about to take his turn. Sem'gah was right before him to select and he could tell that he had been eyeing the gift that Morley brought - a nice Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, customized with a Butchers logo ($1,000,000 value). Sem'gah and reached for the watch box, and as he did, Morley started to move toward the Henny. Just before Morley grabbed the bottle, Sem'gah snatched it up and said "Too slow, old man!". Morley thought that was kind of rude, but hopefully Sem'gah will share a round with his teammates like Morley had planned....but its doubtful. Morley has noticed Sem'gah acting out out of character lately, almost like he wants Morley gone. Selfish, but thats the way this business goes. @TheCC
