Applehort loves the best lyricism when it comes to music. That’s why he listens to a few songs during pregame:

Hard - Tay K, JB BlocBoy

Tay K asserted his dominance as the best lyrical rapper in the game with this song. An instant classic, here are some of the best lyrics:

Code:
I rock out with the chop, *****, I rock very hard (very hard)

She thought it was my **** but my Glock very hard

He then pairs it up with this banger:

Code:
School was very hard (gang), *****, I'm very hard (gang)

Tay-K very hard (hard), Tay-K fairly odd

His second
And finally finishes his first verse with this:

Code:
Chopper with a blade, it's gon' rip you apart

You's a monkey *****, so we knock your tree apart (bitch)

Bullets aim far, bullets aim far

As you can see, Applehort has the finest taste when it comes to lyrics in rap music. In fact, he was named the most sensible music listener in the NSFL for the second straight year. He’s truly a lyrical genius, but he’s really on such a high level of intellect that we can’t comprehend what makes him great. And the catch is that this might be the only thing Applehort excels at, as he still hasn’t figured out that Red means teammate on the field.

Josh Parker has quite the taste in music, he likes basically every genre and artists of any kind of music. If you were to scroll through his music you would probably find one of your favorite songs because there’s so much on it. Parker’s pump up songs are kind of embarrassing, he has an entire playlist of girl singers such a Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Vanessa Carlson and Hilary Duff. Some of the songs he listens to most is ordinary day, look what you made me do and so yesterday, all songs that if anyone else heard would probably chirp him about. Except recently in Portland’s locker room there’s been a lot of Taylor Swift on so he can kind of hide it and knows most of the guys have been digging it. If the guys are listening you can usually see him playing some country tunes such as Florida Georgia line, Johnny Cash and Dallas Smith. It’s quite the mix in artists but basically any song that he knows pumps him up for the games, it doesn’t take much for him to get excited and ready to get on the football field. Hopefully this season is a good one for the rookie Josh Parker and maybe he will find a song where he finally finds his groove on the field.

Footballer Sackerman, the newest player in the Footballer Legacy, loves to get hyped up before his games. Being just released from prison, Sackerman likes to listen to a lot of rap and hip hop as he can relate to a lot of messages and things said in the rap songs. Sackerman really is "about that life" as they say. Two artists that Sackerman really enjoys listening to are Meek Mill and Tee Grizzley. First Day Out by Tee Grizzley is definitely his go to as the song starts of slower and a bit inspirational, and then gets very hype out of nowhere. There two artists have gone through a lot of the same struggles Footballer has gone through, and they also make some pretty hype music which really helps him get excited and in the zone for his games. When Sackerman is nervous for a big game however, he really enjoys listening to some more relaxed and happy music. One of his favorites is good old Stevie Wonder, who's music seems to always put Sackerman in a happy and relaxed mood. Sackerman definitely appreciates music like this as much as he does the harder stuff like Meek and Tee Grizzley.

What does Bucky Barnes listen to to get his mindset ready for game time? Good question because the answer is always changing. Barnes loves listening to music all the time and he's into a large array of genres. Sometime's he'll go months listening to some music with crazy guitar solos and riffs like stuff from Polyphia or Intervals, not a lot of lyrics in their songs and he can just get lost in the instrumentals. Then out of nowhere, he'll be back on a kick of listening to hip-hop/rap where he gets lost in the exact opposite as he listens to the flows, rhymes, and beats to really get himself hyped up. This past offseason was great to him in that regard for his offseason workouts as a ton of his favorite rappers released albums around the same time like Kanye, Cudi, J. Cole, and Eminem. Then just like that he'll be listening to the pop-punk bands he was listening to while he was in middle and high school like Mayday Parade and Fall Out Boy. Whatever the case, you'll almost never catch Barnes without headphones on on gameday. He'll start getting hyped up during the car ride over to the stadium, then get lost in the music while sitting in his locker waiting and warming up on the field.

Unlike a lot of QBs, Fitzpatrick doesn't listen to anything to hype himself up. He is already a pretty high-strung guy, and his biggest pre-game challenge is to keep nerves from getting to him. In his case, he listens to music to relax him. He is quite particular about what he listens to. The biggest rule is no covers. Yeah, there’s a chance it will be Doug Anthony All Stars, but the odds are very much against him. He could end up with some “You Are My Sunshine,” which, if you listen carefully, reveals the sound of the vocalist dragging a razor blade across her wrist. Mash-ups are perfectly acceptable, as those are light comedy, which is exactly his thing. Anything by Tripod is generally a safe bet as well. Sometimes, if feeling retro, he’ll put on American Pie, since that is a low-key song, but also long as fuck, which makes it appropriate for this PT, which also feels too long. If he’s in a bad mood, though, he’ll put on some music that Asipi left in the locker room, crank it up to full blast, and have a good laugh as they all make fun of how bad it is.
