Most improved? Bro I honestly have no idea how it can't be that man Ryan Flock. Last year he was kind of booty buttcheeks and Mayran Jackson took a lot of the attention away from him. But now? Flock is an elite safety who has absolutely locked down the back end of our defense throughout the entire season. My buddy has 54 tackles and 6 interceptions to go with 9 pass deflections. What an absolute beast. We are also arguably the best defense and he has been the one holding down the back end of it, as our secondary is rather underwhelming. Wait a second 6 interceptions? That's cool. You wanna know what's cooler? 4 of those have been housed. Yes, he has 4 pick sixes this season, something that some people won't achieve over their entire career. Its pretty crazy to see how far he has come since last year with his constant and steady dedication to being the best player he can be. Only one other defensive player has multiple touchdowns, so to me the fact that the Outlaws' defense has held people down with Flock patrolling and that he has led to 28 points, he has to be considered the most improved.

One of the most improved players, but severely underrated, in the league is Outlaws defensive end Dental Dam. Last season Dental Dam ended the season with 47 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 9 sacks. In season two Dental Dam is currently sitting at 31 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 7 sacks. Now you might look at these numbers and wonder, how is this an improvement? Last season the Outlaws had the luxury of three star quality defensive ends on the roster and Dental Dam slid into the interior of the defensive line and played defensive tackle for the majority of his snaps. This is important because the interior of offensive lines, especially in season one were for the most part, terrible. Dental Dam’s massive TPE advantage compared to what was mostly AFKs and bots made it easy for him to get into the backfield and rack up tackles.

With the departure of Blaster Blade Dental Dam stepped up moved back to his natural position on the outside of the defensive line where the offensive tackles are much stronger players. Despite lining up against stiffer competition every play, Dental Dam has maintained his statistics from season 1, while also growing into a much stronger player against the run with an impressive 13 tackles for loss. While his stats might not show the improvement, the fact that he’s putting up the same number’s against better players shows how much he was improved this year.

My pick for most improved is Cooper Christmas. He had a good season last year with 705 yards on 47 attempts. He had an average of 15 yards per attempt and 2 touchdowns. That is a good season but this season he improved significantly. In Season 2, Cooper Christmas has 1009 yards on 61 attempts. That is an average of 16.5 per attempt. He has had scored 5 touchdowns this season. That is a great season and an improvement on a good season. To put in perspective he improved 304 yards on 14 more attempts or 21 more yards per attempt. Either way you spin it, Christmas has been great all season long and the season isn't even over yet. There are still a few more games to go and these numbers can only get better. Here is a player going from a good depth piece to star player in the league without a doubt. He is one of 6 players to have over 1000 receiving yards. With only maybe 2 or 3 more players who can come close to that as well. Overall, Christmas has been phenomenal this season and will only get better in the future. Can't wait to see how much more he can improve next season as he and the quarterbacks in the league get better because better quarterbacks equal more receptions and less in-completions.

The Baltimore Hawks have had a turnaround season this year, and are the complete opposite of last year’s squad. Last year, the Hawks went 4-10, and this season they have gone from last to first, and are sitting at 8-5. While this certainly was a team effort, one player from the team is leading the charge this year. That player is Scrub Kyubee, the quarterback. Last season, Kyubee threw for 2,581 yards. This season, he has already thrown for 2,983, and has played one less game. He also has thrown 14 touchdowns and 14 picks this year, a 1:1 ratio. Last season, he only threw 12 touchdowns while throwing 17 picks in 13 games, which is a ratio of 0.7:1. His passer rating has gone up 7 points, a huge change. Baltimore’s efforts can clearly not just be chalked up to one player, that would be a huge overstatement. However, Kyubee has made a huge change in his game for the better, and it has shown on the field in Baltimore. His leadership is helping the team win way more games this season, and also giving them a good possibility at making their first postseason. While no one knows where they’ll go from here, one thing is certain. As long as they have Kyubee, they’ll be in good shape.

One guy that took huge strides this season was that of Mike Boss from the Orange County Otters. Last season, Boss threw for 2,334 yards with a 59.7 percentage, 11 TDs and 19 INT. His overall QB rating was that of 67.4. Now, this season, he has 3,609 with a 60.6 percentage 21 TD and 16 INT with an overall rating of 81.7. There is no doubt that there is a huge increase here in play overall in pretty much every category. Some of the categories are a little more than others, but there is awesome progress and something that Orange County can be happy with. I think he is a huge part to their 8-6 season thus far. Boss will look to continue this progression as the team moves into the playoffs and then into next season. If he can continue this, he could be on record pace for next season. This guy has certainly been most improved at a position that is always under scrutiny. There is always a microscope under the QB position, so as long as he keeps this up, he will not be critiqued. There definitely are other options, but I feel like this was definitely one of the most important positions to improve in.
