Honestly, Thorian Skarsgard's favorite way to game is with a good RPG. He loves having a storyline to get lost in and exploring a new world. The mechanics of building your own character really appeals to him. Skarsgard is a man of details, and so being able to develop your characters skills in a precise way and outfit them with rare and unique equipment are extremely satisfying to him. He spent hundreds of hours playing Skyrim back when it first came out, and truthfully still plays it some to this day. There were days that he would do nothing but train and then go home and play Skyrim, which honestly kind of upset friends. Being that it's a single player adventure, they couldn't play along with him! Now, however, he's been enjoying The Witcher III and Marvel's Spider-Man a great deal. Both are RPGs, but with completely different styles. The first allows you to hunt monsters with powerful weapons and magic abilities, while the second has you don the spider suit and become a super hero. Hopefully, he can finish those two games before another really immersive RPG comes out. Otherwise, he friends and teammates may never see him again.

One of Morgan Marshall’s childhood dreams was always to become a world famous roller coaster engineer, in the vein of Werner Stengel or Alan Schilke. He grew up with a copy of Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 and still plays it to this day, even though it came out over two decades ago. Marshall likes to place a big emphasis on theming and the guest experience even while designing plausible yet terrifying thrill rides. Inspired by Disney, many of his parks feature a number of dark rides and themed attractions over 300 foot tall gigacoasters. Marshall is planning on purchasing a copy of Planet Coaster next offseason, to discover and utilize a more modern and free form approach to building amusement parks. Other than that, Marshall is a big fan of role playing games like Werewolf or Dungeons and Dragons. Marshall is part of a league wide group of players that gathers every few weeks in the season and offseason for a couple hours of werewolf, including well known superstars like Kazimir Oles and Dick Wizardry as well as fellow rookies like Franklin Armstrong, Mo Berry, and Richard D’Attoria V. In fact, Marshall and the group are planning another session soon after Week 14 of the NSFL season.

Blake Faux isn't a guy who loves multiplayer games these days. He used to when he was in grade school, but around the time he hit high school age he didn't really have time to play multiplayer games all that much. He still gamed, don't get me wrong, but he transitioned to single player games. Even to this day his favorite genre of games is Simulation. Games like Out of the Park Baseball or Football Manager or any type of Tycoon game. Currently he's been killing his downtime with OOTP mostly. Faux grew up a Yankees fan, but rarely plays as them in OOTP. It's simply too easy. Faux's has always wanted a professional baseball team in Nashville, where he grew up, so he always expands the league to Nashville and starts brand spanking new. He finds it much more interesting to see the progression of an expansion team, be it team chemistry in the locker room from not having a locker room just a year prior, or the progression of records. That last one is the one he loves keeping an eye on the most. Blake Faux LOVES when any professional sports league expands because you get to see players becomes to the first legends of a franchise.

Faux would love to be a part of something like that.

Ricardo Morris loves to game as he finds it is a great way to wind down after practice and to chill and get to know his fellow athletes and players who play on the Arizona Outlaws, as well as back when he was in the developmental simulation football league for the Norfolk Seawolves. It is a big thing now, video games, and Ricardo has lots of good memories playing all sorts of games with his friends and fellow simulation football players. Things like the shooter games that everyone mentions to the sports sim games, ironically of course. But he likes to spend a lot of time on single player solo campaign type of games, to the chagrin of his fellow athletes who prefer to play as a group bonding experience. He likes narrative adventures, ones that really grip his imagination and get him to immerse in the fake world. Usually after practice, sometimes even a game, with a cold beer, he will sit down for hours and just immerse himself in whatever the latest narrative adventure game, usually a role playing game. Ricardo Morris finds it a great way to just chill and relax and lose his mind and focus on something just for fun for a few hours. Great times.

Video games have always been a big part of Balec Taylor’s life, but he plays them a lot differently now than when Balec was a child. The video game he has by far put the most time into was Runescape. When Balec was younger he use to play that every single chance he could get, whether it be before dawn, after midnight, or anytime in between. After spending well over 4000hours combined in it though, Balec learned he had to tone it way down to focus on the more important aspects in life, like getting ready for the NSFL!!

These days he definitely still picks up the controller now and then, but it’s a lot more short term competitive casual games. Balec tries and get online with some friends and play a game or two of Rocket League, APEX, or Madden mostly, but is open to anything out there that provides a little bit of competition.

To his disappoint though, he has been having a lot less friends pick up Madden each year, they have all been advocating for 2k to come back into the football game. Balec mentioned he is excited about working his way up in the NSFL though, and you never know, maybe 2k will see a value in getting back into football, with soon to be all pro DT Balec Taylor on the cover!

Tommy Helanen enjoys a good game of Bio Inc Redemption on his PC while winding down to some music and chilling by himself. His favorite game mode is the death mode, because sure, saving people as a doctor is fine, but the dark side's calling is always stronger. He learned his strategies for the game from some of his favorite Youtubers such as Pravus Gaming, and he can get hooked playing for hours on end if left to his own devices.

When he invites his teammates over to play games with him, he picks a more multiplayer-friendly game, going with a classic: Mario Kart on the nintendo switch. Helanen loves driving the Yoshi Bike with Red Yoshi as his character, and seeks to red shell anyone who dares to get in his way. Mario Kart can of course host 4 players, but Tommy has 8 sets of remotes in case the entire crew comes over. If there's more than 4 people, there's really only one choice; the ultimate chaos classic, Super Smash Bros. Helanen dominates with Bowser, Kirby, or Donkey Kong, and often ends up with teammates ganging up on him because of his skills. While playing games, the guys enjoy drinks and a bit of banter among themselves.

Video games weren't an integral part of Tyron Brackenridge's childhood as most gaming systems/games were outlawed within his home. Tyron was often forced to play games at other friends houses and some of his favourites would include Grand Theft Auto, Madden, and Call of Duty much like any other young teenager.

Although not having either a Xbox or Playstation hampered his love for video games there was still one console allowed, which was the wii because it had "health benefits". Wii Sports was Tyron's go-to at home because of the ability to play a vast array of sports and the easy to understand mechanics and nature of the game. Tyron claims that one of his favorite gaming moments would include beating boxing legend Matt in Wii Sports Boxing but this has been yet to be verified.

Recently Tyron has has used video gaming as a means to wind down and relax after practices and training. The multiplayer aspect is what truly appeals to Tyron now as he can play with and against teammates. Although he does claim that his new favourite game is Red Dead Redemption 2 because of the open world aspect and the ability experience life as a cowboy, which he has always admired.

Honestly, Easton Cole doesn’t have time for games anymore. In College, where his natural talents and athleticism allowed him to maybe slack a bit in the gym and in practice, he had more time to play games. He’s actually a BIG NHL fan, so he played Chel a ton when he was at Auburn. Other games he’s really been a fan of over the years has been mostly shooters. He used to stay up until 4am playing Horde mode on Gears of War with his close crew of friends. Destiny (And Destiny 2) were always popular choices for a while there, before it got super repetitive and not as fun. He keeps hearing good things about the updates and stuff, but again, he doesn’t have the time to really dive head first into a game anymore. When he DOES get a second to play a game, Easton goes to his trusty Nintendo Switch. Lately, he’s been playing Mario Party with his girlfriend, since they don’t nearly get enough time to hang out as they should. Luckily, she’s a big fan of the Switch, so Easton can just relax and have a good time with her in between Solar Bears practices, games, and his own training as he gets ready to go to the NSFL. Video games dude! You HAD to bring video games into the mix. It's easy. League of Legends bruh! Fast-paced 5v5 MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena for those who don't know about the genre). I mean, it's full of toxic people. What a better idea than a rage-inducing game after a possibly rage-inducing day on the field? I am joking, playing League of Legends is not that rage-inducive. Neither is football... Or are they? I don't know. Anyway, I usually play the role of the top-laner, usually tanky, with tons of hitpoints and resistances, and pretty much yolo style. Siege objectives, go face, kill someone, possibly die, respawn and repeat. Until you break the enemy headquarters, the nexus. But sometimes playing only that becomes monotone. What's better than a MOBA? NSFL 2K! The gift to humanity. The bestest game ever created! The epitomy of perfection. No raging, just calm and crystal clear gameplay. UNTIL THOSE DAMNED GLITCHES START APPEARING!!! HOW CAN THE BALL PASS THROUGH MY PLAYER'S HANDS?!! Who put butter on his gloves?! My team of choice? Obviously where I am actually playing. I sometimes try to see if whatever I am thinking that may work in real life may work in the simulation. Or is life a simulation...

Alright so there are a lot of video games to choose from to unwind to. A lot of people at the end of a stressful day like to come home and put on a relaxing game; one that you can just chill out to. That is not the case for Chase Jensen. He wants to keep his mind sharp both on and off the field so when he comes home he boots up Starcraft 2 baby. There's nothing like a good real time strategy game to keep your fingers and brain moving constantly. Jensen really only plays at the Terran because he's doesn't believe in alien fucks trying to fuck with humanity. Humans for the win baby. Jensen has tried to break into the competitive scene, but with how busy he is with football it's been tough for him. His signature move is rushing battlecruisers which works against shitty players, but he's struggled against higher ranked players. Anyway, he's been trying to convince his teammates to get into it, but they mostly seem interested in playing Madden. Geez guys, how in the hell is that relaxing? You play football all fucking day already. Jensen is always looking for new opponents to practice against so if you play hit him up.
