I didn't block anything, and never knew what the plans were for the new guy and if he would rebrand. While I don't want them rebranded I also know that it's possible. I was accepting of that fact and I figured AdamS would be getting the GM job when he applied, and I knew he'd rebrand them. I had no input in Chicago's decision to reject the candidate, I helped them when they needed help and when it looked like they had their candidate I made my peace, and assumed they would no longer need me so I requested to be removed from any channels that they put me in to try and help with the process. I've said it every time, I want the best for the team. I want the best candidate and I didn't (and still don't) believe they picked the best candidate of the list. I think who they picked would have done well if they had the chance and I believed in him, but it's clear the team didn't think that. I'm not part of the team, I'm not part of the decision, but to say I had any sort of influence and to say that I blocked any sort of rebrand is just ignorant.
