With 4 games to go, Logan Noble is NOT on pace to be the worst QB in league history. Don't get me wrong, he'll set a couple of records, but what I consider THE mark, TANY/A, still has Pierno as the worst. On top of that, he almost won both of his games this week. Fortunately, Noble's remaining schedule is @ARI, @COL, BAL, YKW. That's above average difficulty, and he won't have Bush or Garden. There is still hope.

Mat Akselsen
Attempts 416
Completions 233
Yards 2583
Sacks 28
Yards Lost 166
TD 10
INT 15
Rushes 27
Yards 85
TD 0

Man, I hate being right all the time. Okay, that's not true. I enjoy it more than I should. But I really didn't Akselsen to be this bad. Career low in touchdowns, career high interceptions, one of his worst rushing years, and his worst season TANY/A by almost a full yard. Dude has 200 more TPE than I started the season with. I expected to beat him by a small margin. This is just sad.

Gus T.T. Showbiz
Attempts 426
Completions 236
Yards 2737
Sacks 48
Yards Lost 315
TD 12
INT 5
Rushes 29
Yards 93
TD 0
Fumbles 3

Plays 503
Yards 2515
Adjustment -52.5
TANY/A 4.895626243

Okay, credit where it is due, he cut down heavily on his rushing, but only after losing his best receiving threat. The timing may be odd, but it was a good move. After an understandably rough game on the road against NOLA, it was Philadelphia that really exposed him. Showbiz was sacked 6 times on 57 dropbacks, including one for a safety, and threw for under 300 yards and 0 TDs against the worst defense in the league. Despite having had a great receiving corps for most of the season, and still a solid option with Westfield, Showbiz will finish the season with a lower TANY/A than Fitz. More career wins, though, which kinda hurts.

Kevin Fitzpatrick
Attempts 358
Completions 219
Yards 2342
Sacks 32
Yards Lost 199
TD 11
INT 4
Rushes 22
Yards 97
TD 0
Fumbles 1

Plays 412
Yards 2240
Adjustment 17.5
TANY/A 5.479368932

So much for being the league completion percentage leader. Oh well. It wasn't deserved. Fitzpatrick is having a very game manager-y season, throwing the least interceptions of all QBs. Of course, he is second to last in passing yards, as well. Over his last 6 games, Fitzpatrick has only broken 200 yards in 2 of them. He's not making many mistakes, but he is letting defenses take him out of the game way too often. Next year that will have to change, or Arizona is going to remain a 3 win team.

Ryan Applehort
Attempts 470
Completions 259
Yards 3039
Sacks 31
Yards Lost 194
TD 25
INT 10
Rushes 8
Yards 43
TD 0
Fumbles 0

Plays 509
Yards 2888
Adjustment 50
TANY/A 5.772102161

After one of the most impressive breakout seasons the league has seen, Applehort appears to have regressed slightly. His completion percentage, yards per completion, and interception rates have all worsened. It's not all bad, as Applehort is finding the end zone more and, for the first time in his career, avoiding sacks. The only thing he continues to have going for him is his ridiculously low fumble rate. Despite still being at the minimum for hands, Applehort has only fumbled 3 times in his career, despite being tackled 319 times.

Brad Pennington
Attempts 401
Completions 231
Yards 2896
Sacks 33
Yards Lost 224
TD 17
INT 8
Rushes 6
Yards 24
TD 0
Fumbles 1

Plays 440
Yards 2696
Adjustment -42.5
TANY/A 6.030681818

While I am not surprised, Pennington is making a serious case for breakout player of the year. Despite having four games remaining, Pennington has already set a career high in yards, and will easily finish the season with more passing touchdowns than his first two seasons combined while setting a new low mark in interceptions. Of particular note was his Week 9 performance against Arizona, where he set a personal best 9.96 TANY/A.

Avon Blocksdale
Attempts 429
Completions 255
Yards 3180
Sacks 24
Yards Lost 165
TD 22
INT 7
Rushes 24
Yards 206
TD 2
Fumbles 2

Plays 477
Yards 3221
Adjustment 120
TANY/A 7.004192872

I can't believe this is true, but it is. Avon Blocksdale is more efficient as a rusher than as a passer. In 24 attempts, he has rushed for 206 yards and 2 TDs, for an average of 10.25 adjusted net yards per attempt. He has fumbled twice, but both of those fumbles occurred on sacks. On his pass plays, he averages only a 6.83 (which actually isn't that bad). I have to admit, this makes Taylor's previously impressive 4.7 yards per carry look fucking pitiful.

Borkus Maximus III
Attempts 464
Completions 283
Yards 3584
Sacks 25
Yards Lost 162
TD 30
INT 7
Rushes 39
Yards 132
TD 1
Fumbles 2

Plays 528
Yards 3554
Adjustment 260
TANY/A 7.223484848

1801 yards over the last four games, including a record-breaking 539 against Philadelphia--no wait, against Orange County. What's amazing about his performance is that, with the addition of Carlito Crush, it will likely improve. However, with their recent loss to Yellowknife, NOLA currently looks to play on the road in the Ultimus. Will their upgrade in talent be enough? If not, I can't say I will feel too sorry for him, given that Maximus is the top QB and he still has two seasons left of improvement.

I'm rather happy being the game-managing Alex Smith type this season.

As long as I'm not turning the ball over constantly at this low-TPE state, I'm thrilled!

Right now, you average an interception on every 85.2 attempts, and a turnover on every 77.4 plays. Both are second-best in the league, right behind me. However, against teams with good pass defenses, you've still been the focus of the offense.

Next year will be a big year for both of us. You'll get considerably more efficient, and I'll see a jump in volume and a small increase in efficiency.

And yes, there will be a Fitz v Biz article at the end of the season.
