*Breaking News on San Jose's Christ - AW13 - 10-04-2018

After seeing many strides this past season for Joliet L. Christ and the Portland Python leading to a second straight unfortunate Ultimini loss against the Luchadores, Christ is on the operating table. It was revealed to reporter Wingo Chin at Portland Daily News that Joliet L. Christ had suffered a significant knee injury after being pushed out of bounds on a scramble in the middle of the second quarter of the Ultimini game against the Luchadores. Future teammate Xandra Troyski was responsible for the unpenalized hit on the young, mobile quarterback and while it just seemed like a small limp, an MRI the following day revealed more significant damage than thought.

Doctor Benedict Ratliff confirmed that Joliet L. Christ had suffered both a tear of his Patellar tendon and Meniscus in his right knee. The injuries, while not the worst possible injuries, will keep him out for part of the off-season. Luckily for the young Christ, he is left-handed and therefore this injury does not affect his plant leg, allowing him to continue work on his arm, although supervised.

Christ will wear a brace most likely through training camp and the first few weeks if not longer. This brace may limit his mobility in and out of the pocket making the young, mobile signal caller a pocket passer.

"I wanted to work on my passing game from within the pocket, I guess this will give me extra motivation to work on my arm skills and my ability to work from under center to be a dominant pocket passer in the NSFL. It is unfortunate with the timing as I am headed into my rookie season in the NSFL and I do feel like it did play a part in my decision making and ability to move around the pocket throughout the Ultimini game. It sucks but I will come back better from this."

Sources report that Christ will focus on his "Gunslinger" mentality and while he may no longer be the mobile quarterback he once was, he has all the talent in the world to be a superstar from within the pocket. His arm is getting stronger and his throwing accuracy along with his intelligence on the game have definitely improved. With a growing arm, expect Christ to be a future hall of famer for his throwing skills rather than his legs like most people would have predicted at the start of his career. Christ is expected to attend the DSFL awards ceremony as he along with other Portland teammates are favored for some awards such as QB of the year for the young Joliet L. Christ.

Your build is shaping up pretty similar to what I ran with last year. I'd like to note that it is more a clone of my build than Showbiz's. With Flash, Oles, and Brannigan to throw to, and that build, you are gonna be a clear upgrade over Akselsen.

EDIT: Just saw the new atts. Not bad at all, and nice to see an arch that no one has really tried to make much out of.
