This is very good, especially for for someone who thinks that they are just "okay". I think this shows solid fundamentals, personally I think the color of the render works fine with the orange background in this case, but think about matching the color of the render with the background in the future, especially if the render isn't as big as it is in this graphic. Keep on working away, don't be afraid to play around with different layers and adjustments, getting better at graphics is all about trial and error to see what works
