*Wraiths Ring of Honor - Daybe - 01-12-2019

[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Don Gruden steps up to the podium.

"Over the years in the history of the Yellowknife Wraiths, there have been many superb players to go through our organization. As the squad said goodbye to many long time stalwarts in the past couple years, we thought it was necessary to implement the Yellowknife Wraiths' ring of honor."

"The process for this award isn't easy - the general managers and war room will talk among themselves. We have established our three key factors in deciding whether one shall receive the honor to be:

Code:
-Demonstrating exemplary leadership in the locker room.
-Demonstrating a clear commitment to improving oneself's craft through updating.
-Putting all these skills to use on the playing field, contributing greatly to the success of the franchise on the field

Those inducted will receive a custom jersey that reflects their service in the organization, as well as having their number retired permanently.

Without further ado, here are your Wraiths inductees!

[span style=\\'font-size:21pt;line-height:100%\\']Mat Akselsen, OL/QB (S1 - S9) @Bzerkap

The captain. Akselsen was consistently one of the best quarterbacks in the league on a seasonal basis, and helped deliver the Wraiths their first championship in S8. Akselsen was an unorthodox quarterback - in the days of balanced 70, Akselsen presented another way to win as the signal caller - with mobility. Akselsen was a seven time pro bowler, and a one time MVP.

Eric Kennedy, RB/WR (S2 - S10) @SwagSloth

Eric Kennedy was a jack of all trades. Early in his career, he was used sparingly, as the Wraiths' fullback. In a couple seasons, he emerged as the Wraiths' lead back. However, the Wraiths saw his talent catching the football, and Kennedy took off. There was nothing on offense that Kennedy could not do. Kennedy made three pro bowls and won an MVP himself.

Huge shoutout to @ckroyal92 for taking the time to make these awesome graphics! Congratulations once again to @Bzerkap and @SwagSloth.

Very honored to be included. Means a lot.

Congrats to @Bzerkap, too. Absolutely a legend.

Two great players and even better users! Well deserved. Really Akselsen and Kennedy were the faces of the YKW offense for the better part of a decade.

I hope to see a certain ivory-shaded defensive back join us in there one day.

There will always be a part of Tegan Atwell that is still Spooky and Goth.
