The standout and unanimous leader of the University of Nebraska Black shirt defense has now officially declared for the upcoming dsfl and nsfl draft. After 4 years, as the all in one linebacker, Mo Berry left nothing left to give at the college level. With a a career total tackles of 310. Even breaking the Nebraska single season record, held by former husker Lavonte David, with 161 total tackles in his senior season. That was not the only improvement noticed in Berry's final season in the scarlet and cream. This last year we saw a high improvement in coverage as well in doubling pass deflections and his game saving interception for a touchdown in the Big ten championship. When we sat down with Mo Berry, that is when we really were able to understand, Who is Mo Berry? "I believe you will not find another linebacker in this draft who can pick up a playbook day one and start grasping schemes and reading an offense as well as me." Berry continued on, "I had to learn 3 different defensive schemes while in college so I personally know that at the end of the day I will pick up on what is put in front of me and give the best of my ability physically and mentally." Berry then went on to thank the fans of Nebraska for their support his years with the huskers and looks forward to bringing the same passion to whoever his future team is next year.
