University of Pittsburgh tight end Timmy Hoss is declaring for the DSFL Draft. The 6'6", 250 lb tight end was a standout player on the Panther squad. As a player, he takes pride in providing support to the team as both a blocker and someone who can generate offense.

Timmy Hoss played football starting at a young age. “He wasn’t very good.” One of his parents once said in an interview. “We kept asking him if he wanted to play a different sport.” Timmy ignored the pleas of his parents and kept on trying. By the time he hit High School, he still was much better. “I barely made varsity my senior year,” Timmy said of that time. Still, he applied effort into getting better.

By his second year in college, things for finally starting to click. Timmy Hoss had a breakout season. This success would continue for throughout his time in school. “It couldn’t have happened for a better guy,” one of his teammates said. “Timmy is there every day. He never misses a practice, he never misses a game, and he never misses a chance to be a good teammate and friend. He is always optimistic and trying to help improve himself and everyone around him. He even fought off a coyote in woods once on a team camping trip. Timmy is the whole package.”

Despite all the positive encouragement around him, Timmy remains very humble. “I have no goals other than to get drafted and be the best player I can. Maybe I can continue to perform at the next level, maybe I can’t. All that matters is that I give it my best effort. Ultimately, the sign of my success will be whether I can come away knowing I had a positive impact on my teammates.” Timmy Hoss knows what it is like to work hard, and he will carry his effort and enthusiasm into the DSFL.

Always need more high level TEs in the league. I think they are incredibly underrated and absolutely necessary for blocking/catching.
