Player Update FAQ - Bzerkap - 06-14-2017
Hi guys, I'm the designated updater for the Yeti and I just wanted to make a FAQ for you guys about the update process in general and maybe some team specific stuff. I have some initial information that I'll dump here for you but I also want to take your questions, answer them, and then add them to this FAQ here. My hope is that we can streamline the update process and avoid confusion for everyone involved.
When will updates take place?
We are performing updates for every team once a week on Saturday. There hasn't been a hard time set but I will probably finish with you guys around 6PM PST.
How will I know when my player is updated?
You will know when your player is updated, when I, or another updater, reply to your player update topic with the word "Updated". This means that I have updated the stats with Princekyle, and he will enter it into the sim.
My player roster page is not in sync with my player update page
If I have replied to your update page with the word "Updated" then you are updated. Princekyle doesn't use that to update his sim, we use a separate system. The roster pages are for everyone else, so you can see how you are keeping up with your teammates and other teams.
I do all of the player update pages first, and then I go through and fix the roster pages. So if there is a difference between the two and it is still Saturday night, I probably just haven't got to that step yet. If it's Sunday night or later, I may have missed it, shoot me a message and I'll be happy to fix it.
