After yesterday's questionable statements to the media, current Kansas City back-up QB Ryan Leaf Jr. has doubled down questioning the Coyotes' current roster management. Yesterday, Leaf was recorded for comment following a film session stating, "[Jenkins'] stats are WORSE THAN MINE." Leaf came out on record this morning openly comparing himself to established starter Rose Jenkins. Despite her displaying better overall performance metrics against tougher competition, Leaf has called a Rose a mere "TPE banker". There is some validity to Leaf's comparisons, however, as the 22 year-old out of Portland recorded one of the longest rushes of the past Prospect Bowl. Jenkins responded to his comments yesterday on social media, directly messaging him with "I'm better, you're new" and rebutting numerous reports that a QB controversy is brewing in the city of fountains. Rose Jenkins released comment this morning, stating, "I don’t care who or what this guy thinks he is. I’ve put in work day after day to be the best possible. I’ve been around this league since I was a kid. I’m not letting some guy just walk in and act like he owns the place. The starting spot is mine and he has to deal with it.” Could this be the beginning of the end for Jenkins in KC? Could the 'Yotes look to move Leaf just days after the draft following this explosion of toxicity in the lock room?
