I'm giving this a 3/5 for a couple reasons. Mostly because of just how much you have improved I was close to a 4. The color changed jersey is sweet! The background is great! The only thing I would want to see differently is a more blending, especially between the text and render. Also, keep on practicing the color swap, a few details show up when zoomed in. But the sun, the water, and the palm trees all go well with the color choices.

May I ask what you mean by blending? I think that is one of the terms I'm a little confused on

TS,

You have done a better job of making your text have to layers with the shadow, but you can tell it is a different part of the sig as the render or the background. Blending is a way to make the layers feel more cohesive, and allows each aspect to shine more. An easy way to blend is this, select a background color, like orange for this one, make a new layer on top of the render that is just that solid color. Set the layer to overlay, and start making the layer more and more transparent until you get a good result. I think you will like the results. It gives everything a more fluid look and done right can make the image pop. Take a look at some of tlk's tutorials to help find other techniques. here
