(Week 2 Yellowknife Wraiths @ Colorado Yeti, 10-13L)[/div]

Last week booter scored 3 extra points and went 2 out of 3 on field goals. A 43 yarder which missed the mark, spoiled Booter's 100% party. Field goals were a worrying trend with Booter has his preseason preformance had been wonky when it came down to them.

The game started with the Wraiths going down early, due to a field goal by kicker Bojo Kicksit. However 5 minutes before the first break A lovely throw by Orosz traveled 26 yards and found runner Josh Garden who ran for a touchdown. The extra point kick was in and so Booter's game started. The second and third period were quiet and Booter didn't have to appear. With a slight lead of 7-6 Booter came up for a big kick. 51 yards was the distance to beat for Booters second kick of the day. A lovely hit kick with a slight curve was seen travel through the uprights. Good kick and and 10-6 lead. The 51 yarder also set a new distance record in the kick distance department. A lot of faith was put into booter for this kick and it surely paid off. What a confidence for this young guy. A touchdown with 5 more minutes left in the game by the Yeti's was the end of the game and turned the 10-6 lead into a 10-13 for the wraiths. Notable decision making by the coaching staff. As with one minute left the Wraiths were at the 30 yard line on the fourth down and decided to not use Booter to maybe secure a field goal, but played on regulary and missed out on the tie.

Week 2 featured the kick of the week. A 51 yard bomb which set a new distance record in the NSFL. Booter had an easy game only have to show up twice and scoring both the chances he got. One extra point attempt and a field goal.

This week they had a revenge against the Yeti, after losing the previous week, they were looking to get back at them in front of the Wraiths home crowd. Compared to last week this week had alot more action for Booter to be a part of. The first period had two oppurtunities for Booter. Like previous week Garden touchdowned after a pass from Orosz. Giving Booter an extra point attempt and a chance to grow the lead early. The kick ended up being no problem for him and the lead was now 7-0. With 1:24 minutes left Booter gets called to the 41 yard line for a field goal kick. The second featured three field goal moments for Booter. The first was early in the period and from the 33 yard line. A routine kick for Booter, no mistake. The third kick came from the 48 yard banging off the upright and through for his third good field goal of the game. Booter is on fire this game and 18 seconds before the end of the second Booter already had his fourth chance of the game. This time it was a kick from the 52 yard line. If he kicks this in Archibald will break his own record and set 52 yard as the new distance to beat. He gets ready, shakes his legs a bit and goes for the kick. Bad contact, maybe it was the weather working against him a bit, but the ball flies past the poles and it's a no goal. He couldn't capitalize and expand the lead to 7-19 for the Wraiths. Score stays 7-16 and Booter, going 80% on the day, has to watch as the team gives up a touchdown with an extra point and two field goals by Kicksit.

The Wraiths are now 1-2 after starting the season 1-0. This week they face off against the Outlaws who have started the season 2-1 and boy would this end up being a tight game.

The game starts out nicely for the Wraiths. Nuck gets a touchdown and Booter makes no mistake in the extra point kick that followed. Four and a half minutes later Booter can report to the 26 yard where he will be attemting his first field goal of the day. It goes in and the lead now is 10-0. The outlaws make it 10-7 just before the end of the first. With four minutes to go in the second Booter goes down to the 23 yard and kicks in his second of the game. They get through the third with the 13-7 lead and most of the fourth. However with 1 minute 46 second left. The outlaws get themselfs a touch down. With the game tied it's the kickers chance to win it all. No mistake there and the wraiths see their lead get killed with one kick. The game is lost 13-14 and the Wraiths have now lost three in a row. Booter ends the day 1/1 on extra points and 2/2 on field goals.

(Week 2 San Jose Sabercats vs Arizona Outlaws, 24-10 W)[/div]

A missed field goal and a 14-27 lose last week ruined Laces first career NSFL game. Looking to improve those field goal stats his Sabercats host the Outlaws. The Outlaws who started the season 1-0.

The outlaws get out of the starting gates fast and score a touchdown plus extra point. Down 0-7 the Sabercats hit back quickly. Cook gets a pass from Christ and finishes the play. Laces comes up for the first kick of the game and easily ties the game up. 7-7 is the score now. Late in the second the cats are down 10-9 when laces get's his second career field goal chance, a 47 yarder aswell. Missing the only field goal attempt he had last game, there was some weight on his shoulders to hit this one. It would also get his team the lead again. The ball is hit lovely and it's a no doubter. The cats lead 10-12 after Laces scores his first career field goal. 21 seconds before the end of the second, Laces gets another field goal chance. This time it's from the 43 yard line. After just scoring his first of his career, he must be extra confident in this kick. The ball is snapped back and held down. Laces goes in for the kick, but just doesn't get his body in a right position. The kick isn't powerful or accurate and he missed the attempt. The last two periods are a cats only game. 8:13 into the third Laces kicks in a 44 yarder and redeems the kick he missed early in the game. After a touchdown by Wiley, Laces comes up for the second extra point chance of the game. He watches the ball he kicked whif past though and records a no goal. The first period was dominated by the Otters. At the end of the period they kled 0-17 after two touch downs passed by Josh Bercovici. Who got his chance as the starting QB after alot of controverse in Orange County on that position. Laces kick in a 19 yard field goal 8:50 into the second to put the Cats onto the scoreboard. Down 3-20, the cats scored their first touch down that game and let Laces kick for an extra point. Laces wanted to go 100% badly this week and finished the extra point. The Otters were able to get a lead in the first and so the Cats were behind in the second went about 6 minutes into that period Laces comes onto the field for an attempt at a kick from 29 yard. (Week 2 Orange County Otters @ Baltimore Hawks, 13-10 W)[/div]

The Otter's strating kicker Brandom Walsh set a great record during preseason and kept showing his great form during the first week of the regular season. Going 4/4 on field goals setting a field goal record and ending the week 100%. He has yet to kick an extra point goal though, so we hope to see some of those come through this week.

Week two featured the match up between the Otters and the Hawks. Walsh would show his importance as a reliable kicker in this one. Down 0-7 in the first period it was 2 minutes and 27 second before the break when from the 45 yard Walsh came in for a kick. A curve ball which looked like it was going out of bounds on the right, yet cruved back in brilliantly for a field goal. In the second Walshcame through once again, kicking in his first extra point of the season after a touch down by Westfield. Otters lead 10-7. Halfway through the third Walsh got another summon onto the field. 36 yards was the distance to beat this time around. No issue for Walsh who continues his 100% streak. Walsh has been a huge factor for the Otters so far. Helping his team to the victory last week, this week they take on the 1-1 Sabercats . Trying to beat their divisional opponent and gaining a lead in the division.

The first period showed alot of action for young Walsh as he was given three kicking opportunies. 2 extra points and one field goal attempt. The first was early in the game at the 11:19 minute mark, Westfield scored a touchdown after a 5 yard pass from debuting Josh Bercovici. Walsh bangs it in nicely and gives his team the early lead. About 5 minutes later Walsh heads to the 28 yard for a field goal. He keeps his cool and makes no mistake. 10-0 lead Otters. It's the end of the first when Phelps catches a lovely 20 yard toss and goes for the touch down. Walsh hits his third of the game and the score is now 17-0. Walsh gets to rest the second period which pays off well as in the third he gets his second field kick of the day. 21 yars are no problem for him and in the fourth period he also gets to attempt a 34 yarder. Once again Walsh shows his dominance as a kicker and finished off the kick. Otters win 23-10 thanks to 11 points off Walsh's foot.

The first points of the game are scoring with 3:51 left in the first. Phelps scores a touchdown after a quick pass by Bercovici. Walsh isn't ready to break his perfect record yet and scores the extra point. The second is a period that showcased some class kicks. Two of those were by Laces, but Walsh also showed one top notch kick. The 18 yard isn't the furthest of kicks, but overestimating it could cost you. Walsh makes no such overrestimations and gently kicks home his first field goal of the game. The third had one more extra point moment in store for Walsh which appeared to be no problem. The score was 17-6 and Brandon finished his first four weeks with a 100% record.

The Hawks are now down 3 losses in the season and are looking for their first win. The Yeti's had beat them in week 1 and the Hawks we're looking to get back at them. It would be a high scoring game with alot of exciting moments.

There was no doubt in the Hawks minds today and they went huge from the start. The first period was one big Hawk show with alot of moments for Turkleton. It started just short of 5 minutes of play time, a touchdown by lecavalier started the scoring. Turkleton came in strong and kicked in his first extra point of the game. Just little of a minute later Noble was tackled for a safety. The first period was about to end when Turkleton lined up at the 36 yard and shot it in no problem. The wind might have been a bit of a factor in it, but nothing wrong with a bit of luck from mother nature. Only 26 seconds later Speed return was intercepted and turkleton got in an extra kick. Outlaws are down 0-10. Bronko touchesdown and Nugent comes up for the point. He keeps his form and kicks it in well. No missed field goals for this kicker yet. A full period and two minutes later Washington goes down for a touch down and Nugent once again delivers an extra point for the Outlaws. [Image: dABsjD7.png]

B. Walsh OCO
Is an interesting player as you can see in the chart above he still kicking 100% so far going 13/13. Which is amazing I would say any kicker coming into the league this is the 50 TPE build you should copy. If you want to be successful right off the bat. With 65 Intelligence that seems to be the key to success for this guy. Going 5/5 from 40-49 power doesn’t seem to be any issue although he hasn’t tried from 50. If this guy was active he would be breaking records week in and week out.
B Walsh also does the punting work for the Otters and is not bad. He has a pedestrian average of 43 yards a punt but has the second most punts inside the 20 with 6. For an inactive Kicker/Punter this is the best guy in the league.

Adrienne Nugent ARI
Is starting to become worry some, with the lowest number of field goal attempts (4) he has only hit 3 which missing one isn’t a big deal with such low attempt numbers it has tanked his FG%. The Outlaws don’t seem to mind as he is perfect for extra point attempts and that is how they are getting most of their points.
Nugent isn’t doing so well with punt either 5 weeks into the season he has the lowest average punt among active punters. While he does have 5 punts inside the 20, this might have more to do with the Outlaws strong offensive play putting him in position to succeed as he has the lowest long punt as well.
If I were the Outlaws I would be consider looking for a new kicker if Nugent does become more active, as he made no changes to help his team over the weekend.

Archibald Booter YKW
While the accuracy concerns still seem to haunt The Booter missing 2 field goals one for 52 yards out and the other from 32, he has shown he has the biggest leg in the league. With both the longest field (51 yards) and longest punt (68 yards) he has earn his job and hopefully will keep improving on the accuracy as his teams lack of offense has given him every opportunity to show off his big leg. He bought all of the equipment and has used all of his points to improve this week with an increase of: +5 Intelligence, +2 Strength, +2 Agility, +2 Tackling, +2 Speed, +1 Endurance, +1 Power.
While the Booter showed off his big leg with a 68 yard punt, he needs to be more consistent in the punt game with the second lowest average in the league, I wouldn’t say he is in danger of losing his job as he is actively working on the problem, but it is something that needs to be solved ASAP. As the Wraiths struggle on offense The Booter needs to help his defense as much as possible with field position.

Kentillan Laces SJS
As I said last week the Sabercats have already add a season 2 kicker and Laces is on the hot seat moving forward. With the lowest FG% I cant seem to figure out why but he has missed every kick from 30-39but is 4/5 from 40-49. Laces made no changes over the weekend still sitting at 50 TPE. The Sabercats are ready for a change at kicker but they still might want to keep Laces on for punting surprisingly. Laces has the second highest punt average in the league and a long over 60 yard. He has been a solid punter throughout.

Bojo Kicksit COL
Last week I suggested that Yetis might want to think about swapping out Kicksit but since then he has kicked 100% on both field goals and extra points. While he hasn’t changed his build from week to week he has shown he can be a consistent kicker from range having the second longest field goal in the league, 50 yards.
The COL are one of two teams that have a designated punter that is active. Jimmy Darkapple might be the best punter in the league. He has the highest average by over a yard and has the third longest punt on record. While he didn’t change his build either over the weekend he looks to continue his consistent performance week in and week out.

Turk Turkleton BAL
Being one of only three kickers to change their build from last week Turkleton is working hard to stay on top and it shows. Increasing his Accuracy by 1 over the weekend. He is 11/11 on the season kicking for 100%, while he hasn’t gotten a chance to kick a 50 yarder Im sure he feels confident he could put it between the posts with 80 power. Interestingly enough all the kicker who have 100% FG% all have intelligence of at least 60.
The Hawks also have a designated Punter Stephen Harris the Scottish monster has been fighting for the best punter spot and is one of the three kickers in the league who are actively improving add +2 to Power over the weekend. He has fallen to third best in averages but remains tied with 7 punts inside the 20. For now Darkapple has the edge as I believe consistently long punt are the most important factor in punting. Harris might want to consider add a few point in intelligence as we say that was The Booter largest area of improvement and it seemed to increase his power.
