Despite never playing a game for the Austin Copperheads, Django has been thrilled by the reception he has received from management and the fans. Django is ready to show his commitment to this new franchise by signing an extension with them before even stepping foot on the gridiron. The terms of the deal are favorable to both Django and the Copperheads. Django will be receiving $2,000,000 per season from S17 through S19. Each offseason, both Django and the Copperheads will have an option to void the contract. This gives the team flexibility if Django’s dedication to training declines, but also allows Django to be in charge of his future if things sour in Austin. We have also worked in a clause to the contract that states Django will be utilized as the first or second option in the Copperheads’ passing attack. It is important to my client that he is used in a manner that is equal to his talent. While the Copperheads are free to use him in the slot and on the outside in formations, it must be clear that Django is not buried on the list of players being targeted on passing plays. FHO would like to extend a congratulations to Django for earning a contract like this that secures his future and also the Austin Copperheads for being able to keep a player of Django’s talents on their roster.
