I kinda like the preseason simmed rather it's streamed or not, if we can see the stats or play by play. That didn't happen for whatever reason this off season so it's felt especially long.... Still don't have the index up for this season actually

It's not about the streaming. It's about lengthening the offseason to give updaters a break and give the GMs time to put together send down lists and OL bot builds and give the simmer time to build the file.

The only ones that really need a break is the simmer. They have the most work to do. Being an updater, I don't think we needed a month break. Being a GM, I'm pretty on top of stuff, so I don't think that takes all that much time either. Obviously, this was a much longer break than normal, but I think we do run the risk of losing more people if we have another off season like this last one!
