*DSFL Power Rankings - GodSpeed11 - 07-25-2019

The DSFL has now gone through 10 weeks of action and we can begin to solidify the fast approaching playoff season and the last of the season should turn out to be one hell of a closer.

Power Rankings wk/10:

1. TIJ At 9-1 The Luchadores are having a fantastic turn out for the season so far. Sitting pretty good not only at the #1 spot but with the 2nd longest win streak in the DSFL as of right now. Pulling of a perfect 5-0 at home and a strong 4-1 on the road they are looking dangerous headed into the post season. Their only loss coming from the best team in the NFC North the KC Coyotes earlier this season whom they play 7/25.

2. KCC At 7-3 the Coyotes seem to be picking up right were they left of last season pulling of a DSFL best 6 wins in a row. Also holding 2 wins over the Pythons who also have a 7-3 record. Despite a average 4-2 home and a slightly better 3-1 road record the Coyotes are surely trending the right way at the right time.nNot having the flashy record doesn't seem to phase this Coyotes team as they did manage to hand the best team in the SFC South the Tijuana Luchadores their only loss of the season who they play again 7/25. This team looks to avenge their 1st round loss last season and seem to be putting it ALL on the field this season.

3. POR Standing also at 7-3 the Pythons would be in 2nd place if 2 of their 3 losses didn't come from division rival KC Coyotes. despite this however they still have stacked 7 wins on the season trying to turn it on late winning their last game against the Marshals. Posting a mediocre 2-2 Home record, but a impressive 5-1 Road record the Pythons are far from being out of the playoff picture. However with the Coyotes standing in their way its looking to be these two teams for the Divisonal Playoffs who will come out with the advantage come playoff time?

4. SA With the 4-6 record the Marshals are in danger of missing out of the playoffs. Also with loosing their last game against the Pythons who are standing 3 Conf. games in front of them pushing their loosing record to 2 consecutive losses, the Marshals Home record now stands at a below average 2-4 and the Road record just barely hovering at 50% at 2-2. It seems to be all but over for this team, but they still could make the playoffs still with 4 games left to play this team can't afford many more mistakes.

5. PB A depressing 2-8 record is almost as bad as it can get during a 14 week DSFL season, but that is exactly where the Solarbears stand at the moment. Already being out of the playoffs the Solarbears cant even get back to a average 50% on the season this season especially after dropping another game last week against the league best Luchadores. Fans haven't had anything to cheer about this year outside of somehow getting 2 wins on the season at home that unfortunately could be the ceiling for this team this year with a 2-4 Home record and a uncompettitive 0-4 Road record the only question is "Should we tank?"

6. NOR Coming in at DEAD last and the ONLY team that is having a worse season than the Solar bears are the Norfolk Seawolves. This team despite winning 1 game on the road has had literally NOTHING to give their fans to cheer, be happy, or even smile about. With a Home record of 0-3 and a Road record of 1-6 not to mention the owners of the longest loosing streak of the DSFL this season swinging in at 9 straight losses, the Seawolves may have little to nothing left to play for this season. The hope for this team has to be either draft or MASSIVE management changes.

This is shaping up to be a close one for the end of the season with 1 team at 9-1 2 teams a 7-3 with 1 of those 2 teams holding 2 head to head games over the other. Also we have 1 team at 4-6 who has the talent to make the playoffs, but will they be able to win at least 3/4 of their remaining games to get there? Lastly we do have 2 Bot teams who have proven that they are still looking to the future in hopes they will eventually become just as competitive.
