S17 W1 Resim - manicmav36 - 08-27-2019
Due to a few errors in the updating process, Austin was left with 3 key players missing roughly 226 TPE. Because of this, HO has decided that the week 1 game between Austin and NOLA must be resimmed. Unfortunately, due to the limitations of our sim, that also means that every other game must be resimmed as well. The end result of each game was kept the same, except for the Austin/NOLA game obviously, but stats will change.

Actually fucking ridiculous. So, because of a stupid error, I lose 6+ tackles, 2 FF's, and 2 FR's and essentially any chance of winning DPotY. Yeah, okay. Thanks for that!

Thank you HO, it is very much appreciated that the Copperheads were able to replay their match with full TPE. Sorry to everyone whose stats were changed, but if your teams were in a similar position you would have also wanted a resim.

This is beyond stupid, would they even protest if they won or realised only after the fact, they basically get a free coin toss here?
Awarding resims promotes not being proactive, just share a file prior to the sim and have GMS check for mistakes forfeiting resim altogether in favor of finding errors prior.

gms were not given that file you assumed we didn't proactively look at between the saturday night update and the sunday night sim
i'm not going to come in here and address everyone's issues but i'll make an exception for an opinion based on completely inaccurate assumptions from someone who should absolutely know better than to jump to baseless conclusions

Where was the break in process that caused the error, and what specific reasoning allows for an exception to rules in this case? Was this caused by Austin or HO, or were both parties guilty of infraction?
