A new quarterback has arrived!

His name is Deondre Thomas-Fox (DTF for short) and he is out of Georgia Tech University where he was the starting quarterback for 3 seasons in a primarily option attack. Born in Atlanta, GA, he never left the state for his college career, choosing to stick around Atlanta playing in famous Bobby Dodd stadium for the Yellow Jackets, earning a degree in Physics during his time at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

He did not throw much in college during his time in the option offense and was primarily used as a running quarterback who racked up a ton of rushing yards and rushing touchdowns in his career at GT, braking the school record for both by a QB. DTF never had a losing season while he was the quarterback for the Yellow Jackets, finishing at worst 7-7 and at best 11-3, along with a 9-5 season in the middle as well. Georgia Tech won 2 bowl games he was a part of and lost in overtime in the 3rd, which was the year they had gone 7-7. One thing about Thomas-Fox is that he is very smart and has a big throwing arm despite his small stature at just 5'11 and gets to only about 212 pounds on the scale. He may have a hard time adjusting to the heavy hitters in the NSFL but he should be able to run and run fast, utilizing his extreme speed for maximum gains.

He does not have a preference of NSFL teams that he will play for and looks forward to the process of going through the DSFL and getting looked at by NSFL scouts. He has stated that he will likely not change positions and is fine waiting for his opportunities if need be to be a QB in the league. He definitely has the talent to be an extremely good quarterback in the NSFL, maybe one of a kind. When asked who he enjoyed watching play, his answer was Joliet Christ of the San Jose Sabercats because he is pretty much the only dual-threat QB to have been in the league the last 5 seasons or so.

Time will tell how DTF will progress but he has a lot of talent and motivation to be great in this league, but will the league give him a shot? It is worth watching!
