Alright I'm going to be upfront with this one. The DSFL should allow three teams per division into the playoffs. Look at this years great Palm Beach and Norfolk teams. These teams could definitely beat SA or KC if given 100 chances. They won a combined 6 games between them and the league refuses to let these powerhouses in because they are scared that their precious Tijuana might lose again to an underdog. If Tijuana was so good they should have no problem playing an extra team in the playoffs. Make them prove they are whe we thought they were.
I believe the league should have a 1st round bye for the bottom team in each division. (Obviously they need it). Then the #1 and #2 seed battle it out to see who has the right to travel to one of these power condos. This makes the league more entertaining and more profitable. This gives slept on teams their time to shine on national television. Imagine watching Portland playing in Norfolk for the Dicision Championship and a trip to the Ultimini on the line. Norfolk might only lose by 10! That would be a rollercoaster of emotions for a city with nothing better to do.
So after saying all this. I hope we can see some changes next season to make it more fair for the league. If College Football can let Notre Dame into the playoffs then Palm Beach deserves their chance to get destroyed on national TV in a game they don't belong in. Hopefully the right people are listening and we can get the true champions in the league.
