*Breakdown of Hall's Season and TE Career - Hallmonitor_20 - 09-20-2019

With the season wrapping up for The Palm Beach Solar Bears and players preparing for the upcoming NSFL drafts we are going to take a look back at former Tight End, who has now made the decision to be a defensive end, Zach Hall.

Hall had a rough season with Palm Beach as the former GMs that drafted him stepped down half way through the season and he took over in the role with teammate Baxter Frost. Halls stats saw a huge uptick after the change in management as the Solar Bears went to anpass first offense that greatly helped his stats.

Now that Hall has decided to play on the defensive side, we decided to see just how effective he was against opposing teams throughout the season.

First we look at his stats against fellow basement dweller Norfolk:

4 Games played 10 catches 132 yards.

Hall produced his best yardage totals against the struggling Seawolves this season. After holding Hall to only 9 yards in week 2, Hall would explode back under the new leadership to put up nearly 30% of his yearly total against them. Hall also had a 34 yard reception against the waterpups that would be his longest of the year and 10th longest in the league.

Now we will look at his stats against division rival San Antonio:

2 games played 4 catches 49 yards.

Hall struggled in these division games and the old regime can't be blamed as he was only able to get 1 catch for 8 yards in the week 9 matchup. The San Antonia defense was able to keep Hall from being a factor as they 2-0 against Hall's Bears.

Now to look at his stats against SFC North Leader Portland:

4 games 12 catches 128 yards.

Hall ended up with his most catches coming against Portland which would be assumed as the Pythons and Seawolves were the only team the Solar Bears played four times. What ended up being a heated matchup at the end of the season Hall had 3 catches for 61 yards (a season high) against the Pythons in their upset week 14 victory.

Now to finish the Southern Division with Kansas City:

2 games 8 catches 111 yards.

Hall hands down had his best games against the Coyotes. He had 4 catches for over 50 yards in both contests against Kansas City with his Solar Bears winning both. The KC defense couldn't stop Hall in the passing game and were hurt by catching Palm Beach after their change in GMs.

Finally, let's look at his matchup against Tijuana:

2 games 4 catches 23 yards.

Hall was at his worst playing against the Luchadores and their defense. Thudd and Beno for Tijuana locked down Hall in both meetings. Allowing 21 yards in week 4 and only 2 yards in week 8. To be a division rival Hall only met the division leader twice and had little to no impact on the games.

To wrap up Hall's final season as a tight end he had 38 catches(3rd in TEs) for 443 yards(2nd in TEs) and never scored a touchdown on the year(last in everything).

The sure handed tight end will now make his move to the NSFL draft as a raw athletic defensive end and we will be following his career closely.
