Don't be afraid to have it almost completely obscured, that's totally fine. Your bg is dark which contrasts with the foreground a lot, but I would say that you also need to find a way to tie them together. The name text is too dark to really read, and the text in the corner would be better served underneath the name text as some sort of supplementary text. Also I reccomend playing with adjustment layers and such.
