Hello, all!
My name is Matt (/u/Hi_mynameis_Matt), and I’m co-commissioner of Major League Redditball, also known as /r/FakeBaseball, where we play baseball on Reddit by guessing numbers between 1-1000! Together with co-commissioners Val (/u/LocksTheFox), Hank (/u/squishfacethegloop), Mason (/u/DaveyClarkman4Prez), and Rickey (/u/amesker), I am extending an invitation to join our league and be a part of MLR Season 5!

So what is Fake Baseball?*
We’re a growing community of over 700 players with 30 Major League teams, playing since August of 2017! Fundamentally, Fake Baseball is a numbers game, described often as “Baseball meets DND.” You make your player, decide what baseball archetypes you’d like to play as, and take the field. The pitcher and batter play a guessing game, with the pitcher “throwing” a number and the batter guessing it. The closer the guess, the better the result. Surrounding it is a bunch of easy-to-learn rules and tactics, and more stats and analysis than you can shake a bat at.
The regular season is now underway! We are accepting applications for Season 5! After applying you'll be posted as a free agent, so get ready to chat up some GM's in our discord server!
