*S21 Mock Draft - revuhlution - 02-26-2020

Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to another Season 21 Mock Draft. We've got quite an event coming up. The two new expansion teams, the London Royals and the Dallas Birddogs (or is it Bird Dogs?) will be joining the league and creating their roster from scratch. They will have the first two picks in each round, which will help them gain the talent they need to compete. This draft is going to be interesting. Do teams go after the highest-TPE earners? Do they look to find more consistent, quality fits to their team? Who says a player can't be both. Even though the draft is just days away, things can still change quickly. Guys who aren't even in this mock may find a way to jump into the first round. As usual, teams are talking about what they want to do, but can you really trust them? Probably not. Without any further ado, here we go.

*Draft Order current as of 12:27PM PST, 2/26/20*

Draft Order
Round 1
1. Dallas Birddogs
2. London Royals
3. Portland Pythons
4. Tijuana Luchadores
5. Kansas City Coyotes
6. Norfolk Seawolves
7. Myrtle Beach Buccanneers
8. Minnesota Grey Ducks

Round 2
1. London Royals
2. Norfolk Seawolves
3. Portland Pythons
4. Portland Pythons
5. Kansas City Coyotes
6. Norfolk Seawolves
7. Myrtle Beach Buccanneers
8. Dallas Birddogs

London Royals
[Image: LON_thumb.png]
With a wide-open roster, you have to think the Royals are going to look to find some game-changers. They will have all kinds of opportunities, so it will be interesting to see how things play out for these two expansion teams.
Team Needs: All

Dallas Birddogs
[Image: DAL_thumb.png]
The Birddogs are essentially in the same boat as the Royals, looking to fill out their roster with as much quality as possible. One difference is that they will need to draft GM Gucci's player in the second round. It will be interesting to see how that choice impacts the rest of their draft.
Team Needs: All

Portland Pythons
[Image: ajPIy7x.png]
Strong up front, this team is lacking in the skill positions. They'll be looking to pick up one of the many talented DBs early in the draft, as well as fill out that position as the day goes on. On the offensive side of the ball, look for them to pick up a wide receiver that can make some plays for them.

Tijuana Luchadores
[Image: f7UBKic.png]
Ole! Tijuana is going to be losing a lot of players to call ups, so they are going to be focused on their rebuild, especially at QB after their QB went IA last year. They are also looking to put some talent into the defensive backfield, which shouldn't be too hard with so much talent coming in at those positions this year.
Team Needs: Quarterback, Cornerback, Safety

Kansas City Coyotes

Another team that needs help in the defensive backfield, Kansas City is slowing putting together a quality roster. There are one of the many teams looking to snag a DB early on.
Team Needs: Cornerback

Norfolk Seawolves
[Image: siNt966.png]
Coming off their expansion season, the Seawolves will look to continue to build. They are a possible trade candidate, looking to both trade back for more picks or trade up higher. They just worked out a deal with Dallas to obtain the 2nd pick in the 2nd round. They could use help up front on the defensive side, but don't be surprised by a few more surprises.
Team Needs: Cornerback, Quarterback, Defensive End, Defensive Tackle

Myrtle Beach Buccanneers
[Image: EdysIKP.png]
With such a quality team, MB will likely lose some big names to the NSFL. A good situation for any player, MB will continue to look to build a locker room full of quality guys. Look for them to focus on the offensive side of the ball, which will be interesting with so much talent coming on the defensive side of the ball for this year's draft.
Team Needs: Wide Reciever, Runningback, Qb in late rounds

Minnesota Grey Ducks

Our reigning champs, Minnesota will be looking to reload. They are a bit thin at the skilled positions, particularly CB and RB. Look for them to make a splash with one of the quality defenders, but they will want to add to the depth in the running game. Might they try to make a move and stay on top of the league?
Team Needs: Cornerback, Runningback

Round 1

DSFL Draft | Round 1 | Pick 1 | Dallas Birddogs

Colby Jack - QB
The Birddogs will take one of the Jack squad to lead their team. They are picking a cornerstone player who they build around for the years to come.

DSFL Draft | Round 1 | Pick 2 | London Royals

Monterey Jack - QB
No surprise here. The Jack boys are moving up in recent Mocks. Here, they go 1-2. Much like Dallas, London lands a player that will lead the team. Jack has a high ceiling and will look to set the tone for the Royals. A good starting piece for the offense.

DSFL Draft | Round 1 | Pick 3 | Portland Pythons
[Image: ajPIy7x.png]
Thubba Bumper - CB
The first of many talented defensive backs to go off the board. We'll see a run on the position in the next few picks. Bumper will help reinvigorate the back-end of the defense for the Pythons. He brings a great pedigree to the team. Look for big things out of him this year.

DSFL Draft | Round 1 | Pick 4 | Tijuana Luchadores
[Image: f7UBKic.png]
Phat Boi - DT
tijuana adds a highly talented player to their defensive front. Boi has a sizable TPE bank already and is an active participant in the league. He plays with a chip on a shoulder that will serve him, and Tijuana, well in the trenches. Big piece in the middle of the Luchador defense.

DSFL Draft | Round 1 | Pick 5 | Kansas City Coyotes
[Image: KCC_thumb.png]
Tyler Oles - CB
Oles is going to make a difference for the KC defensive backfield. He's talented and smart. A great player at a spot in need of help.

DSFL Draft | Round 1 | Pick 6 | Norfolk Seawolves
[Image: siNt966.png]
Ben Slothlisberger - QB
Norfolk picks up a solid QB to lead the offense. Slothslisberger is an active player who will be invaluable to Norfolk's rise

DSFL Draft | Round 1 | Pick 7 | Myrtle Beach Buccanneers
[Image: EdysIKP.png]
Stanislaw Koniecpolski - LB
Solid pick here for the Bucs. Not a position of need, but sure to have an impact on the game with high TPE and lots of activity. The rich get richer.

DSFL Draft | Round 1 | Pick 8 | Minnesota Grey Ducks
[Image: MIN_thumb.png]
Ozamataz Buckshank - CB
Grey Ducks pick up some more talent here, filling out the defensive backfield. Buckshank has been active, particularly in media, gaining a bunch of $$$ and TPE. Will likely have more content up with the 1.5x media money until the draft.

Round 2

DSFL Draft | Round 2 | Pick 9 | London Royals
[Image: LON_thumb.png]
Slinky Claxton - DE
Looking to solidify the defensive side of the ball, the Royals go with Claxton with their pick in the second round. He's got one of the best Twitter accounts for the incoming class and is sure to continue to rack up the TPE. London has their two cornerstone.

DSFL Draft | Round 2 | Pick 10 | Norfolk Seawolves
[Image: siNt966.png]
Susan Cash, Jr. - WR
With the recent trade, Cash Jr. slides into this spot. The Seawolves will hope that Waters and Cash Jr. will be a duo to lead their offense. Big potential here, but a bit of a surprise that they didn't take WR Mike Lee here.

DSFL Draft | Round 2 | Pick 11 | Portland Pythons
[Image: ajPIy7x.png]
Mike Lee - WR
Pythons make an easy pick here and scoop up the talented Lee, addressing the offensive side of things. Big pickup, as Lee figures to make a significant impact on the league. High TPE, long history, and active.

DSFL Draft | Round 2 | Pick 12 | Portland Pythons
[Image: ajPIy7x.png]
Jeffrey Phillips - TE
Portland again adds to the offense. High TPE, Phillips will help the Pythons offense. He and Lee will really kickstart their O. Had an early start last year and can have a big impact for the Pythons. So much defensive talent coming in this year, this is a big pick for Portland to battle.

DSFL Draft | Round 2 | Pick 13 | Kansas City Coyotes
[Image: KCC_thumb.png]
Mo "Mamba" Magic - DT
Kansas City looks to build again on the defensive side, this time up front. An agile big man, Magic will look to take on blocks for the guys behind him. Don't blink those, he's sneaky quick for a guy his size and is already earning his TPE.

DSFL Draft | Round 2 | Pick 14 | Norfolk Seawolves
[Image: siNt966.png]
Buck Thornton - S
Moving up on boards league-wide, Seawolves take the physical safety He's be extremely active (and has one of the most entertaining Wikis out there). Thornton is earning TPE and is an active member Discord and Twitter. Look for him to be a cornerstone of the Coyotes defense this year, in both the pass and run game.

DSFL Draft | Round 2 | Pick 15 | Myrtle Beach Buccaneers
[Image: EdysIKP.png]
Quinn Hughes - S
Myrtle Beach adds another weapon to the defense at important position. Quinn will give them options of defense. He has a significant amount of TPE already and his stock has been rising. Underrated pick.

DSFL Draft | Round 2 | Pick 16 | Dallas Dogbirds
[Image: DAL_thumb.png]
White Goodman - RB
Due to the requirement that Dallas take their GM's (Gucci) player at the top pick in the second round, Dallas trade nets them ultimate value at this spot. Goodman will easily be one of the Dogbirds' best players.

That's it. Be sure to tune in after the draft to see how wrong I am!

*S21 Mock Draft - Thor - 02-26-2020

Your round 2 order is all messed - pick 4 is Portland (traded by Tijuana), pick 1 alternates back to London in Rd 2 (pretty sure pick 1OA belongs to Dallas) and pick 2 was traded by Dallas to go back in the second. White Goodman is Gucci's RB and can't be picked up by MB.

Otherwise nice mock, disappointed to not make the cut.

It's a little tricky to keep track of from what I've seen, best bet is to ask in discord and people can help you get the order right. I'm not sure what the Birddogs trade involved for round 2, but round 1 should look like this

Draft Order
Round 1
1. Dallas
2. London
3. Portland
4. Tijuana
5. Kansas City
6. Norfolk
7. Myrtle Beach
8. Minnesota

*S21 Mock Draft - Bauer - 02-26-2020

Hey look mom, I'm on this one

*S21 Mock Draft - BadLck - 02-26-2020
