- Can perform under pressure

Weaknesses:
- Terrible hands

- Easy to predict
- Has played in similar schemes his entire career
- Not a three down player

Summary:

Douglas Quaid is what you get when a star DE moves to LB. A monster tackler, and lightning quick, and deadly instincts. Quaid was an absolute monster coming into the DSFL, getting drafted 2nd overall. And his year in the league proved just why he was valued so highly. 144 tackles, 5 tackles for a lost, 3 forced fumbles (2 of them he recovered personally), 3 sacks, and 1 interception in 14 games. When Quaid is on the field, he is involved in the play

While electric on the field, Quaid is – unfortunately – quite predicable. Playing as a pass rushing OLB alienates a lot of possibilities for him. He doesn’t have the skillset, or endurance to be a three-down linebacker in the NSFL, which would make him invaluable. His lack of play knowledge is evident in his reliance on simple match-ups (RB or QB spot/rush), and his skills as a coverage for dynamic tight ends is spotty.

However, this is easily adjusted for in a defensive scheme. Slide Quaid down to a rush role, or slot him in at the DE position, and I think he’ll have a lot of success in the NSFL rushing the QB or catching the RB.

Player Comparison: Nick Bosa –

I can think of no other player than Nick Bosa to compare Douglas Quaid to. Dynamic from the edge, fast, strong, and an electric presence on defense. Quaid is also a consummate professional, and a hard worker. Humble, always hustling, and a fan favourite, Douglas Quaid, much like Nick Bosa, will be a gem to whatever team picks him up.

Hey that's me. Nice job. Quaid is definitely a toolsy athlete without much of a tool box right now.
