S1 TOP 50 PLAYERS OF TODAY
[/div]
Welcome to the S1 inaugural "Top 50 Players of Today". This year we had four skilled, and dedicated members of the community put together their list of the Top 50 that will set the bar for the years to come in terms of who is slightly better than their buddies in terms of imaginary football league dominance. I'm proud to announce your S1 Expert Team (they'd probably like to make a note that the team name was NOT chosen by them, and this is the first time they have ever heard it), the NSFL Port-a-Potties! That's right, I just made a highly important organization into a mockery with poop jokes. I promise I'm not Donald Trump (get it cause he took a shit on the States and I made a poop joke earlier) and that I'm just a sad little fifteen year old boy sitting in his basement writing a half ass semi official article about make believe people who play with balls.

Without further ado... your S1 NSFL PORT-A-POTTIES!!!

@Ballerstorm - Our supreme leader, the man who has stepped up and made everything we do here possible due to his unwavering commitment to sim leagues everywhere. I personally decided to rank Ballerstorm very high on my list for more than one reason, one of them being I was slightly concerned about being fired from this job if I didn't (it's all jokes).

@ADwyer87 - The Arizona Outlaws have a lot longer of a history than most of you know (unless you guys were in whatever football sim leagues this team first existed in). He created the Outlaws who instantly become rivals with my Dallas Longhorns (throw back to my useful GM days) and the rest is history. ADwyer has consistently showed his knowledge of football and sim leagues and has worked his way to the top of the reputation ladder by sending his Outlaws to a league leading record and the Ultimus Cup Finals (set to be played tomorrow night, go watch).

@ErMurazor - This is a guy who started off his career in the sim league community relatively unknown, but with a name cool enough to make him a player GM's wanted. Soon after he became a threat to be reckoned with and not only became a PT Progression Manager, but eventually took over simulation duties from the real legend here, @princekyle.

@Noble - If you actually investigate my track record in this league and other sim leagues I've done pretty much nothing useful for sim communities compared to these guys. But hey, someone has to set the record for most players ever created (although maybe @RavensFanFromOntario is still a few ahead of me).

Now that all the jibber jabber and the attempt by me to get us a little extra word count so this huge undertaking is worth it is all over, we can get down to politics. As soon as the final list is submitted.

Graded

(S1) - Top 50 Players of Today - Noble - 07-09-2017

50. (S1) TE - Gabriel Tenzini || New Entry - BAL @princekyle
Average Grade: 42.5

Tenzini is the first ever player placed on the list. A member of the Baltimore Hawks, Tenzini has since moved on to the Las Vegas Legion where he will see great playing time. This year he was the unchallenged #1 tight end, and will likely continue that role in Las Vegas. With over 400 receiving yards this season for the Hawks and three touchdowns. His offensive presence was a huge part of his game, but his role as a tight end allowed him an impact on defense as well. With twenty two pancakes on the year and only one sack allowed, Tenzini put up a very solid season.

49. (S1) S - Alex Hansen || New Entry - YKW @acki
Average Grade: 42.5

Hansen is the second player on our list, coming in at 49th overall. Hansen spent the whole season in Yellowknife, helping lead the Wraiths to the playoffs and allowing them to get the stellar record they did with his great secondary play on defense. Hansen had no troubles claiming the top safety position in Yellowknife, his only competition being Pablo Sanchez who quickly showed he didn't have the skills to make it in the NSFL. Hansen had an excellent statistical season, racking up 74 tackles which is a phenomenal number for a safety, as well as three sacks, an interception, and a forced sack. His all around contribution to his team is what places Hansen on this list.

48. (S1) S - Vikain Marmaledov || New Entry - COL @Vikain
Average Grade: 42.25

Vikain Marmaledov narrowly took his spot over Alex Hansen by only a quarter of a vote for 48th Overall, but he deserves this higher ranking. Marmaledov is a player you likely haven't heard much about as he's been fairly quiet around the site since being drafted, but he's been a solemn leader for the Yeti this year from the defensive team. This year he made 62 tackles and force not one, but two fumbles and a sack, alongside an outstanding four interceptions on the season. The extent of Marmaledov's ranking can not be talked about purely in terms of his success in tackles, because this was a player who committed himself to every part of the game this entire season.

47. (S1) QB - Ethan Hunt || New Entry - SJS @daBenchwarmer
Average Grade: 41.75

Hunt was part of the first trade in NSFL history, being dealt for defensive tackle Bert Metas. His original home, Orange County, was a breeding ground of controversy mostly generated by a three (at one point four) man battle for the starting quarterback position for the Otters. Hunt ended up being moved to San Jose to replace Jameis Christ and posted great stats to finish off the season. Hunt landed a solid 1209 passing yards this season, six touchdowns and only three interceptions on the season. This was one of the best performances from any player this year in terms of straight skill. If Hunt could find more playing time, he could explode into a role as a menace of a quarterback next season.

46. (S1) CB - Philippe Carter || New Entry - COL @enigmatic
Average Grade: 41.75

Philippe Carter was the shock of the entire draft come the third overall pick for the Colorado Yeti, who snagged him with their first ever draft pick. Since then, Carter has become an irreplaceable member of the NSFL and a solid player on the Yeti's back-end. He's even take on as a role as a mini general manager for the Colorado Yeti and was reportedly the creator of the Las Vegas Legion logo as well as the Yellowknife Wraiths logo. Carter posted 56 tackles this season, but his top statistic that has GM's talking is his four interceptions he accumulated this year. His pairing on the back end with Marmaledov made the one two punch of taking over possession from even the best of quarterbacks.

45. (S1) CB - Dirk Cutter || New Entry - YKW @CaptainCats
Average Grade: 41.5

Dirk Cutter might be surprise to some to be ranked ahead of a player like Carter, but what sets him apart is his defensive touchdown he scored earlier this season. Cutter can be seen around the league often, contributing in multiple ways and being a solid team player. Cutter had 45 tackles this season, and was yet another secondary player to piece together four interceptions. The amount of turned over balls between these three is astounding, and really speaks to the skill of the league's secondaries.

44. (S1) DT - Franklin Harris || New Entry - OCO @Apache_Chief
Average Grade: 41

Franklin Harris pulls in at number 44 this season after having a solid season the defensive end of the ball. This Orange County Otters DT put up magnificent numbers in his rookie season in the league, and was a great member of the community since joining prior to the inaugural draft. Harris started off the season with a bang, and continued right to the end, grabbing 56 total tackles and an absolutely incredible 12 sacks on opposing QB's. Harris' game is mostly defined by his unrelenting pressure and ability to jump the line and get the sack.

43. (S1) LB - Ian Bavitz || New Entry - OCO @Molarpistols
Average Grade: 41

The next player on this season's list is star linebacker and likely all-pro player Ian Bavitz. Bavitz has been extremely dedicated to this league, and has made some of the biggest developments in terms of player growth since the start of the season. Bavitz has recorded a massive 100 tackles this season, along with 4 sacks and an interception (something difficult to do as a linebacker). His continued development of his all around game will make Bavitz into an unstoppable force that opposing offenses should be terrified of.

42. (S1) DE - Everest Teagarden || New Entry - COL @xfactorx121
Average Grade: 41

Teagarden may a surprise player to many on this list, but due to a singular ballot ranking Teagarden oddly high (and I mean like... really high), E.T has made his way into the Top 50 for this season. This defensive end was born in West Virginia and played his college years for TCU. This year wasn't a bad one for Teagarden by any standards, with him recording 67 tackles and amassing 8 sacks from the defensive end position. His presence in Colorado was missed as he hasn't been known to be the best team sport, but his skill shines over his blemishes.

41. (S1) K/P - Archibald Booter || New Entry - YKW @PoloPro
Average Grade: 40.75

Rounding out the highest placement of our first segment is the first Kicker on the list. Archibald Booter had a magnificent season in Yellowknife. He spent the entirety of it both punting and kicking, using his leg constantly. Backup Ryan Ellis did replace him for one game, but that's a minor detail. Booter ran a nearly 92% extra point completion rate on kicking with his longest this year coming from the 55 (tied for league lead). In terms of punting, Booter continued to nail the ball, amassing over 4000 yards in punting posting the league record at 69 yards this season. Future soccer player? Who knows.

(S1) - Top 50 Players of Today - Noble - 07-09-2017

40. (S1) CB - Antoine Delacour || New Entry - BAL @37thchamber
Average Grade: 40.75

Delacour had an excellent season this year with the Hawks, playing consistently as one of their top secondary players. Not only is Delacour a strong player on the field, but he's a natural born leader and reports inside the team say he was a strong member of the leadership team this year. Delacour took 77 tackles on the season, forcing and winning possession of two fumbles while he was at it. One sack and an interception rounded out this hard hitting corner back's build, and opens the door for a strong season next year.

39. (S1) WR - Lincoln Jefferson || New Entry - ARI @adam2552
Average Grade: 40.5

While Jefferson is no longer with the Outlaws, he is the first player featured on our list. Taking part in the management team over in Arizona before joining the expansion Las Vegas Legion, Jefferson had a role of massive importance to the Outlaws all season long. As one of their top receiving targets he made waves league wide with his creative catching ability. Amassing just under a thousand yards this season and six receiving touchdowns, Jefferson is already well on his way to start climbing this list as season's fly by.

38. (S1) K/P - Turk Turkleton || New Entry - BAL @Raven
Average Grade: 40.5

Turk Turkleton was one of the highest rated kickers going into this season with the Baltimore Hawks, and certainly didn't disappoint. His unwavering commitment to the league and his team is what makes Turkleton such a valuable member of the community, but his athletic prowess is a close second. This season, the young player made 96.2% of his kicks, and converted 25 extra points opportunities successfully. On top of this, he nailed a fifty five yard kick, tying Archibald Booter for the current league record.

37. (S1) DT - Vinny Cox || New Entry - COL @Gooney
Average Grade: 40.5

Coming out of the gate, Cox was one of the most talked about players due to his high draft position and reputation in other leagues. He took this opportunity and ran with it, using his social standing to boost his confidence and take his play to even greater heights. Cox recorded 69 tackles on the season and an incredible 7 sacks. He didn't stop there though, and continued to assist his team even into the playoffs as they took the NSFC title game due to some of his solid line work.

36. (S1) S - Ryan Flock || New Entry - ARI @theFlock
Average Grade: 40.25

When looking at where the success of the Arizona Outlaws defense came from, Ryan Flock is a name that jumps immediately to mind. Flock had a great season from the Outlaws backfield, providing deep coverage and closing down on opportunities for opposing quarterbacks. On the season he had a total of 71 tackles, and finished the year with 3 interceptions. He wasn't able to convert any into defensive touchdowns, but his role on the team as a zone coverage style safety is something that can't be overlooked.

35. (S1) S - Clee Hardrool || New Entry - SJS @Saliva^
Average Grade: 39.5

Not many people have heard that much about Hardrool this season, but he has quietly been leading the secondary force in San Jose. With the stats he's been putting up though, everyone should know his name. This is a player who can be a long option coverage or short range blitzer and used that this season in great ways. Hardrool posted 51 tackles on the season, along with three interceptions, and a crazy four sacks. His ability to play as a more primary rusher sometimes is what really makes him such a strong player in this league.

34. (S1) OL - Mat Akselsen || New Entry - YKW @Bzerkap
Average Grade: 39

Akselsen started off the season as a relatively unknown offensive line prospect with nothing to lose, but quickly it became apparent that he was going to be a huge piece of the puzzle for Yellowknife. The Wraiths offensive line would have been a lot different this year had Akselsen gone somewhere else or failed to declare. His 49 pancakes were forth overall by offensive line man league wide, and he only allowed five sacks all season long. The continued development of his game at every area how he does it now will make him an unstoppable force that opposing defensive lines should fear.

33. (S1) DT - Trent Bender || New Entry - YKW @GengarGoat
Average Grade: 37.75

Bender has quietly made a name for himself this season, and while he's not the most outspoken player on or off the field, it's his dominant level of play that makes his place on this list. While some defensive tackles focus only on grabbing the backs as they come out the sides, or running down the passer, Bender took a different approach by exploding into anyone who came near him. With 47 tackles this season and an absolutely astounding 12 sacks, T. Bender is making a name for himself without using words.

32. (S1) OL - D'Brickshaw Ferguson || New Entry - YKW @mjdharder
Average Grade: 37.5

Here's the next piece of the powerful O-Line team in Yellowknife, D'Brickshaw Ferguson. This player is massive, coming in at 6'5" and 320 lbs. His style of play? Knock em all dead. Ferguson is a technician offensive lineman, but this year he threw that all out the window and took to just smashing skulls. Ferguson had 45 pancakes on the year a great number, although he did allow nine sacks onto Orosz. This may seem like a downfall, but his general ability to hold the line single handedly is what places him at this spot on the list.

31. (S1) QB - Vincent Draxel || New Entry - ARI @701
Average Grade: 34.5

Vincent Draxel was a shoe in to make this list, seeing as he lead the the Arizona Outlaws not only to the best season in NSFL history (not that there was a season to beat) but also the league's first ever championship. His dynamic style of play where he throws the ball really fast in a straight line is what made him different this year, and it certainly worked because it showed in his stats. Draxel lead the league in passing yards with 2858, and passing touchdowns with 20. Why is he ranked so low then? Because Draxel threw a league leading 20 interception (yes even ahead of Mike Boss) and finished with an average completion percentage of just over .500. With a little bit of work, he'll be sure to rise the ranks next season.

(S1) - Top 50 Players of Today - Noble - 07-09-2017

30. (S1) DE - Jason Spearhead || New Entry - YKW @BasedPooter
Average Grade: 34

Spearhead opens up the third segment on of our list full steam. This defensive end rolled into the season as a brand new player to the simulation community but has become an integral part of the system. His recent development may have faltered, but Spearhead's statistical output doesn't show it in the slightest. Spearhead had a dominant season for the Wraiths this year, posting 52 tackles, recording 10 sacks, and forcing the opponent to fumble the ball twice. Should he continue down this path he'll be a monster on the defensive line for years to come.

29. (S1) WR - Damian West || New Entry - BAL @GoodLeftUndone
Average Grade: 33

West is an absolutely wonderful wide receiver who broke into the league this season in full force. He came out swords swinging and pre-season and carried the momentum right up to the end of the season. Despite the Baltimore Hawks failing to qualify for the playoffs, West still managed to put up some pretty respectable stats, especially for a player on a losing team. West passed the 1000 yard threshold this year, smashing into the Top 5 in receiving yards. On top of this he managed to contribute four touchdowns to his team, something that likely kept Baltimore from performing even worse this year.

28. (S1) DE - Adamle Tomlinson || New Entry - OCO @Jbearly
Average Grade: 32.75

Tomlinson is the first real big profile player to be ranked on our list. Selected 12th overall as the last selection of the second round by the Orange County Otters, this defensive end has taken on a big leadership role for his team this year. His style of play where team means everything is displayed openly on the field, and he loves to show off his team pride. This season, Tomlinson recorded 42 tackles, commonly celebrated with a large roar. On top of these tackles, A.T was able to post 10 sacks, a great number and something that really sets him apart from the competition. Should he grow and develop in Orange County, he should have no trouble being a full time superstar.

27. (S1) LB - Lindarius Shelton || New Entry - YKW @EvanR123
Average Grade: 31.5

Shelton is another very well known player, and mostly got his fame from partaking in the legendary pre-draft podcast. This league activism is likely what caused him to be taken 11th overall (one pick ahead of 28th ranked Tomlinson) by the Yellowknife Wraiths. Shelton didn't let his team down this year, exploding onto the defensive scene in full force to take the league by storm. Shelton doesn't get the recognition he deserves for the great season he had this year, as he took 118 tackles (good for 4th in the league), a sack, and all while forcing three fumbles and recovering one. This is a guy that teams are definitely regretting not selecting.

26. (S1) LB - Brady Stropko || New Entry - ARI @Bushito
Average Grade: 31.25

Stropko started his youthful career with the Arizona Outlaws and stayed with them right until the end where they took the Ultimus Cup for the first time over the Colorado Yeti. Shortly after their championship winning game, Stropko was dealt to the expansion Las Vegas Legion in the biggest trade the league has seen to this date. In Las Vegas he hopes to provide the same dynamic and explosive defense that he did for Arizona this season. Stropko posted 113 tackles on the year, and had a massive nine sacks. His ability to rush the line, overpowering and overwhelming offensive line man is what made him such a top talent this season in Arizona.

25. (S1) DT - Bert Metas || New Entry - SJS @Bertiswho
Average Grade: 30.5

Bert Metas surprised many this season with his incredible play and workmanship considering he was drafted in the later round of this inaugural draft by the San Jose Sabercats. His play on the defensive line was absolutely outstanding, and the most you can about Metas is that his style of play is something unseen in other defensive tackles in this league. Metas made 55 tackles on the season, but his more impressive stat was his eleven sacks, which kept the Sabercats from totally running into the ground this year. On top of these two stats, he added a fumble forced, and was well known around the league for scrambling the opponents back line.

24. (S1) WR - Bradley Westfield || New Entry - OCO @Bwestfield
Average Grade: 30.25

Westfield was one of the top wide receivers league wide this season, and played top minutes in Orange County all year long. His continued devlopment made him into an athletic star, and his larger undertakings in league wide events made him a hit with social media gurus and the finest of the NSFL's critics. Westfield is a prime example of natural talent, earning just under 1000 yards on the season for the Orange County Otters, along with 8 touchdowns and an average distance of over 16 yards. If he keeps it up, he'll be the receiver every team in the league is vying for in no time, and that's a pretty sweet spot to be.

23. (S1) LB - Harrif Ernston || New Entry - ARI @Valtookan
Average Grade: 27.75

Ernston clocks in high on the inaugural draft list for a couple of reasons. Ernston not only posted fantastic statistics this season, he also provided a terrifying presence on the defensive line that made opposing lineman shake in their shoes. Ernston put up some of the extremely solid stats this season, providing his team with 85 tackles in what will likely be the physical season that sets the bar for him. On top of this he was a tank, knocking loose three balls and recovering all three of them. Twelve sacks also made their way onto his repertoire, strengthened by an interception whilst on the line. The best players are the ones who do not rely on what stat alone to compete, but rather a multitude.

22. (S1) WR - Bailey Cook || New Entry - SJS @RainDelay
Average Grade: 27

Cook was by far the top receiver for San Jose this season, and finished easily in the Top 5 league wide. His dominant ability to find the open lane and make room on the field for the catches that really matter is what made him into the dominant player he was at the end of the season. Football knowledge is a key factor in Cook's game, as he searches the field for any slot he can find where either Christ or Hunt could find him this season. Posting 1062 passing yards on the year and 4 touchdowns with an average yards per carry of 14.8, this is a man to be reckoned with and someone opposing GM's will need to find a way to contain before he runs away with the game next season.

21. (S1) RB - Vick Bowers Jr. || New Entry - SJS @Bengals1Fan
Average Grade: 26.75

Bowers opened the season with a bang, flying right into the top of the draft rankings and being selected by the San Jose Sabercats. His pairing with Bailey Cook (ranked 22nd) made a dynamic duo that was unstoppable all season long, and was the main reason for the Sabercats not falling into complete disaster. With the best season by an ASFC running back, Bowers exploded onto the scene earning just over 1000 yards and scoring two touchdowns for the Sabercats. While his highest rush of the season was under twenty yards, it was quality over quantity for this youngster as he battered the opposing line with rush after rush all season long.

(S1) - Top 50 Players of Today - Noble - 07-09-2017

20. (S1) WR - Stormblessed || New Entry - ARI @`DillyDing`
Average Grade: 26

(None) Stormblessed is one of the top offensive talents the league has seen so far, being a massive threat for the Outlaws all season long. While his performance in Arizona was enough to help sky rocket them to the league championship, he's since moved on to the expansion Las Vegas Legion, where he will continue on the field. Stormblessed is mostly remembered by many for a legendary fifty yard catch he had earlier in the season, but it's not just one time show for this player. His performance keeps on going. Stormblessed managed to rack up 971 yards this season, sixth highest in the league by and receiver. Alongside this he also managed to take 7 touchdowns for the Outlaws, worth 42 points on the year. This is a player who will do nothing but make a positive impact in Las Vegas next season.

19. (S1) LB - Jaylon Lee || New Entry - ARI @youngcricket
Average Grade: 26

Lee opened the season on an awkward foot, falling into the later picks of the top of the draft before eventually being selected by the Arizona Outlaws. His unwavering dedication to the team since then shows that despite the odds and the negative reception to his game play, Lee will continue to dominate in every way he can. Lee was one of the top defensive players in the ASFC this season, following closely behind Alexander Selich in tackles with 121 and sacks with 4. One of the highlights of Lee's game is his ability to move the ball away from opposing players as he knocked loose a fumble earlier in the season and managed to recover it as well. This is a hard hitting line man who everyone is going to be wishing they hadn't passed up on when he really explodes into his sophomore season next year.

18. (S1) CB - Jason Williams || New Entry - ARI @RayCobaine
Average Grade: 25.25

Williams was an absolutely stunning member of the backfield and secondary for the Arizona Outlaws this season, posting some of the top statistics by any corner back league wide. His absolute domination when taking on strong opponents such as Josh Garden or Kendrix Hendricks is what made him strong, and his ability to shut down backers or receivers who break past the defensive line makes him an even more stellar multi game player. Williams had a very strong statistical season, posting 44 tackles for the Outlaws, and recording a massive 5 interceptions this year. But, the fun doesn't stop their with Williams. Of the five interceptions he made, Williams managed to overturn and score defensive touchdown on THREE of them. This is a player who can literally find ways to contribute at every part of the game.

17. (S1) RB - Leroy Jenkins || New Entry - OCO @Jiggly_333
Average Grade: 24

The Orange County Otters opened the season with a bang due to their three way quarterback battle, and in the midst of all the rage, one player who was making huge moves at the Otters' offense was being overlooked. Leroy Jenkins was one of the top running backs league wide this season, and a case could easily be made to rank him at number one in the ASFC. The only reason that Jenkins isn't the undisputed top running back is that duties were shared with his team mate Omar Wright, another absolutely phenomenal running back. The team tried their best to split it fifty, and the players took it easily. Jenkins managed to post just under 1000 yards and 4 touchdowns to his league numbers, ranking him as one of the top talents of his time.

16. (S1) DT - J.J Reigns || New Entry - OCO @Shaka
Average Grade: 21.75

Reigns had a lot of high expectations riding on him going into the NSFL's first ever season as he was the first player ever selected in an NSFL draft. Taken first overall by the Orange County Otters just over a month ago, Reigns has been nothing short of exceptional for OC all season long. Well known for his explosive play style and fun loving attitude, Reigns has become a fan favorite for not only Otters fans, but football fans across the nation. With his trademark dodge and duck technique when rushing the quarterback allowing him 14 sacks this season (good for the defensive tackle bench mark) and another 46 tackles being added on pesky running backs, Reigns has been exactly the player Orange County expected to get out of their first overall pick in what will be known as the deepest draft of all time.

15. (S1) LB - Alexander Selich || New Entry - SJS @Tomen
Average Grade: 20

The Sabercats first round selection in the inaugural draft, Selich came into this year with just as high expectations of players the likes of Josh Garden or J.J Reigns. While he didn't necessarily seem to be the type of player who be an absolute statistical monster, critics and fans were more than elated to see Selich become one of the most dominant line backers pro football has ever seen. With physical play only contested by the likes of offensive hulk-man Angus Winchester, Selich battled his way through thick and through thin, leading his Sabercats despite a disappointing season. Selich finished second in the league in tackles with 128, a number only surpassed by Hendrix of the Hawks, forced a fumble, took an interception, and added seven sacks for what will go down as one of the top linebacker performances ever recorded.

14. (S1) LB - Kurt Hendrix || New Entry - BAL @HENDRIX
Average Grade: 19.25

Hendrix was this year's line backing champion in terms of pure physical play, bull dozing over opposing teams offensive lines and smashing heads to rise his way to the top of the tackles list. A purely dominant and overwhelming style of defense is what's in the books for this young line backer who spent the entire season focusing on just knocking guys over instead of taking the approach of rushing the quarterback. Not only this, but Hendrix' leadership potential is incredible as he took on a huge role with the Hawks this season and did his best to help the team with the struggling inaugural season. With the league record and the highest number recorded by any line backer, Hendrix swung into his rookie season with an insane 144 tackles. He added no interceptions nor sacks, but also forced two fumbles while grabbing onto and tearing down opponent's running backs this season.

13. (S1) CB - Alex Hayden || New Entry - COL @Rich
Average Grade: 16.75

When Alex Hayden got selected early on in the Inaugural NSFL Draft, some critics were left wondering what was going on in the minds of the Colorado Yeti, taking two corner backs early on in the draft. Little did the fans know, the Yeti's secondary was only just getting started. Hayden will forever be known as the player who knows how to dump a player, as he slammed tackle after tackle onto opposing receivers this season. His growth from the beginning of the year was exponential, and his dedication to Colorado and the league as a whole makes him one of the most valuable asset a team could have. With 63 tackles, a forced fumble and an excellent four interceptions, Hayden is well on his way to making next year's Top 10 list with just a little bit of work.

12. (S1) OL - Daniel Robicheaux || New Entry - SJS @Electraspace
Average Grade: 16.75

Daniel Robicheaux is the main competition this season with the legendary Angus Winchester, a player who will likely be voted league MVP for the year. Robicheaux lined up four times last season against Winchester, and was competing against some of the top defensive line players that pro football has to offer. While his name hasn't come up much in discussion for the Positional OL award, he was named to the All-Pro team and will look to use that opportunity in order to further his experience with and against the best of the best. This season D.R posted some extreme statistics for a young offensive line man, recording 57 pancake for the Sabercats and only allowing three sacks all year long. With strength and persistence like this young man has, the league has a bright future ahead.

11. (S1) WR - Robert Phelps || New Entry - OCO @DrunkenTeddy
Average Grade: 16

When you talk about the league's top wide receivers, who first comes to mind? For some, it may be Josh Garden. But to the real sports fans and football critics, there is a new king coming to town. Robert Phelps didn't have the same hype following him coming into this season, and spent most of the year performing out of the spotlight due to the quarterback battle in Orange County and the success of the team's rushing team. Despite this, he still made one of the most skill based performances of any receiver in the league, including Garden. Phelps posted 1142 yards, a mere 36 behind his biggest competitor and placing him in second overall in the league. This becomes an even more amazing when you look at the style of play Phelps uses, finding holes in passes under twenty yards and exploiting those holes for bigger gains, the main reason he scored three touchdowns this season. By continuing to play in this unique style, Phelps will run away as a one of a kind player this season.

(S1) - Top 50 Players of Today - Noble - 07-09-2017

I'm sorry for these last write ups, they should have been the best but my mental capacity for football statistics has fallen apart after writing 7000 words on it.

10. (S1) RB - Omar Wright || New Entry - OCO @`xdave2456`
Average Grade: 14.75

Coming in at tenth overall on our list is star running back for the Orange County Otters, Omar Wright. Wright had an absolutely dominant season in Orange County, running over opponents with short and quick gains that made the Otters as successful as they were all year long. His physical side allows him to run over opposing teams tackles, ends, and linebackers as he threw himself into opposing defensive lines for three touchdowns this season. Alongside these three touchdowns, Wright posted 999 yards, falling one short in his final game of cracking the 1000 yard milestone he so desperately chased all season long. Wright finished the season at third in yards, tied for third in touchdowns, and with the longest catch of the season coming in at an insane 80 yards. Look for him to continue this solid play next season in Philadelphia.

9. (S1) DT - Mark Ramrio || New Entry - YKW @Anti-Hype
Average Grade: 9.25

Mark Ramrio came into the NSFL's inaugural season with very high expectations placed on his shoulders. Being selected by the Wraiths at 14th overall in the 3rd round, it was do or die for Ramrio. And evidence by his ranking and his stats this season, Ramrio chose to do rather than die. This Yellowknife defensive tackle put up very strong play for the Wraiths all year long, providing the type of physical support a team should expect from their defensive line. Touted as the number one rusher in the entire league, Ramrio was non-stop in his goal to put every quarterback he saw on the ground. Posting a massive 14 sacks on the year (placing him in second among all players), and adding another 57 tackles as well as a forced fumble, Ramrio was an unstoppable force and will attempt to continue his reign next season in Las Vegas.

8. (S1) QB - Chris Orosz || New Entry - YKW @Aenir
Average Grade: 8

Orosz comes in as one of the top quarterbacks in the league, and deserves the ranking just as much as the next guy. His ability to bomb passes down the field for quick gains made the dominant force he was all season. Yellowknife's offensive team would have been considerably weaker without a guy like C.O moving the ball around, and he even made the rushing team better. This is a player who can commit to every part of the game and challenges the role of a quarterback each and every time he plays. Orosz made a number of solid passes this year, but some of his better plays were in his ability to avoid rushers. Miraculous footwork lead to a legendary season of dodged sacks. Orosz put up incredible numbers on the year too, with 2788 yards, 14 touchdowns, and only 9 interceptions thrown. By using his abilities next year, Yellowknife will continue to be a force to be reckoned with.

7. (S1) DE - Jayce Tuck || New Entry - ARI @ErMurazor
Average Grade: 7

Tuck came into this season as a relatively unknown player, but quickly made a name for himself due to taking on commitments inside the league and with the Arizona Outlaws. The new J.T (Justin Timberlake is the Pantaloon and John Travolta is long gone) in America, Tuck is a fan favorite who is beloved by even the least dedicated of the football communities. Typical Tuck merchandise is worn by college age white girls from Ivy League colleges who attend games with their boyfriends, but that doesn't make the impact Tuck had on the league any less important. Tuck rounds out the last of the defensive line in this ranking, making him the best line man in the entire NSFL. With his 47 tackles, forced and recovered fumble, and a league leading 16 sacks, he deserves all the attention he's getting. An undoubtedly, will continue to get.

6. (S1) LB - Jonathan Saint || New Entry - COL @jparks98
Average Grade: 6.5

When asked the question of how the Colorado Yeti made it to the NSFL Championship game against the Arizona Outlaws, Saint is one of two players who comes to mind. His dominant presence on the Yeti's defense made a name for itself, and Saint was quickly given the nickname of "Angel" by his team mates after the becoming "guardian of the end zone". While Saint does stop runners on occasion, his role this season was predominantly to rush the quarterback as he put up the best statistics out of any linebacker on the list. Saint provided his team with 14 sacks this season, as well as an interception, two fumbles forced, and a massive 101 tackles. His performance did not go unnoticed, and he will go down as one of the most valuable players acquired in the inaugural draft.

5. (S1) S - Iasiah Rashad || New Entry - ARI @Destroyer
Average Grade: 5.75

It will come as no surprise that the best secondary player, and arguably best defensive player of all comes in as the first player a part of the Top 5 in this Tpo 50 ranking. This stud managed to slip into the far reaches of the 18th round before finally being selected at 103rd overall by the Arizona Outlaws. In what may be the biggest steal in the entire draft, Rashad made huge moves this season to make a name for himself as the top safety the league has access to. Rashad made the most of a season riddled by quarterback failure, and picked off 10 passes this season, returning one for a defensive touchdown. As well as these interceptions, Rashad also took 59 tackles this year, making his performance more than just a ball handling one.

4. (S1) WR - Josh Garden || New Entry - YKW @Ballerstorm
Average Grade: 4.75

Once we get into the Top 5, it's a close knit battle between the top competitors and the lower downs as to who will take home the title, but sometimes you get a class with just too many top competitors. Garden is one of those players, easily putting up the best season by any receiver. The only reason he fell out of the top three is due to an insanely talented pool of players making their way past him. Despite his "low" ranking, Garden should still be happy with where he's placed. This season he managed to string together 70 receptions, averaging 16.8 per catch with a total yardage of 1178 for the league lead. Alongside this he posted 7 touchdowns, good for second overall only behind Westfield who placed 8. Garden has been and will continue to be one of the most dominant offensive threats the Yellowknife Wraiths have.

3. (S1) QB - Logan Noble || New Entry - COL @Noble
Average Grade: 4.5

When looking for a star player, Logan Noble might come to mind. The Colorado Yeti were the shining star of the weaker NSFC conference, and much of this can be attributed to Noble's success with the ball all season long. Noble was able to work with the three man running team that the Yeti possessed, and worked the ball to multiple targets instead of focusing on a primary for most of the season. As well as this, Noble was an expert at finding holes in the opposing teams defense, picking through secondaries like no ones business for short bursts and gains. On the season, Noble completed 252/446 passes for a completion percentage of 56.5% (good for third among full time QB's). He took home 2603 yards (also placing him at third) as well as 15 touchdowns (2nd behind Vincent Draxel). Noble only posted eight interceptions, ranking him first among full time starting quarterbacks.

2. (S1) OL - Angus Winchester || New Entry - OCO @timeconsumer
Average Grade: 2.5

Angus Winchester was by many considered the undisputed player of the year this season, as the put up an absolutely legendary result with the Orange County Otters. To his dismay, he was not able to lead the Otters to the NSFL Championship, and ended up giving his only sack of the entire season up in the ASFC championship game against the Arizona Outlaws' Jayce Tuck. During the regular season, Winchester a league leading 65 pancakes, as well as what will forever be the unbeatable NSFL record of 0 sacks allowed. Winchester was a terrifying threat for opposing defensive lineman, and really broke into his first season in the NSFL in an unforgettable fashion. There is nowhere for Winchester to go but up from here as he rises towards the football hall of legends.

1. (S1) RB - Bubba Nuck || New Entry - YKW @NUCK
Average Grade: 1.75

Having completed every player up until #1, we are left with the player who has been voted not only by the community, but also the committee as the best player in the entirety of the NSFL. This player started his career with the Yellowknife Wraiths, skipping the NSFL draft and joining the team as a managerial player. He immediately took to being the best, and opened up the pre-season with one of the best starts of any teams running backs. He continued this success into the regular season, and lead the NSFL in every statistic but longest rush (which he posted 38 yards). Nuck's first season consisted of 277 rushing attempts where he averaged 4.4 yards for a total of 1217 yards this season. On top of his yardage, Nuck scored 6 rushing touchdowns this season. By all definition, Nuck was the best player this season, and will go down as the stuff of legend in the NSFL's fan community.
