*The Week 4 NSFL Emotional Rollercoaster - Thiath - 03-17-2020

Week 4 for the NSL was a rather interesting one. Of course there was the massively controversial trade between the Chicago Butchers and Philadelphia Liberty. And the ensuing announcement of Ahri Espeeyeeseetee, which had many fantasy owners feeling cheated. Many others thought, why change positions so late in the season?

There's the ever growing rivalry between the Dallas Birddogs and London Royals. Though is it even a real rivalry? Or is it just two dudes having a conversation only for one to start bashing everything the other is connected too? What will become of this rivalry in the coming weeks? Does anyone even care? Those questions and more will not be answered here tonight.

The most important events this week took place during the games themselves. The first major change, cute creatures adorn the screen. Consisting primarily of cats, there was also one picture of panda cubs. This immediately sparked a divide among NSFL fans, hundred taking to social media to voice their unhappiness.

One fan wrote on Twitter "I can't believe that would discriminate against dog lovers like that, I mean I thought they were supposed to be the league of inclusion"

Another said in a post on Instagram "I am truly and utterly appalled, I cannot believe a league I've loved for years would betray my trust like this."

On Facebook, Kathy Brooks said. "I'm shaking, I'm literally shaking. I'm deathly allergic to cats! I'm just so overwhelmed right now. How could they do something like this without putting up a trigger warning first? I will be contacting my lawyer!"

This was only the beginning of the controversy, as the second and perhaps the biggest changed that occurred during this Sunday's presentation was the lack of music. Hashtag "bringbackmusic" was trending on Twitter for nearly eight hours, as fans made it clear they would not stand for such a change.

@Sloppytacopizza wrote. "Is it really the NSFL without music? I mean really?"

A concerned fan contacted me directly, wishing to remain anonymous. "It kinda points to a larger picture." They said, "they're doing this on purpose, they want us to get used to it so they can start filling it with ads instead."

A representative from the NSFL declined to comment on the matters when asked. How will they handle this controversy in the coming weeks? Only time will tell.
