The announcement that everyone has been waiting for came down from NSFL HQ earlier this afternoon. The league will officially be expanding by two teams going forward. We in Vancouver are absolutely ecstatic to hear this news that has been expected for some time. Hi. For those of you who don't know us, we're the Vancouver Football Association. Our goal is to bring the NSFL to Vancouver. We've been quietly building this organizaiotn for the last several eyars as we watched the league grow and expand and recently came out into the public forum. For those of you who don't know much about our fair city we're a thriving metropolis of 2.5 million people in Southwestern Canada located right on top of the Pacific Ocean (give or take a river). We're a seaport, a business hub, a naturally beautiful city, and regularly named among the best cities to live in in North America. We're one of the most geographically and culturally diverse cities too. Ocean, mountains, forests, we have it all. We're outdoor enthusiasts, tech leaders, energy innovators, and hey we're pretty damn friendly too. Vancouver is a great place to live and a dynamite place to for the NSFL to expand to. IN preparing for such a huge operation you need people who can stand up to the kind of tests we're going to face. From applying to interviewing to actually getting started if we are blessed with the team we hope for. We worked hard to get that set up but even with hard work a little good luck must fall your way. So it did for us. A shining light in the dark if you will gave us an opportunity and we seized it. Some months ago we had a chat with a recently retired individual and after significantly convincing we brought him on board.
Thus we are psyched to announce at this time the COO, future Vancouver GM, and minority owner of the team. His accolades are amazing. His name carries incredible respect. Charlie Law Sr! He is the foremost expert on taking an expansion team and building it into a success and retired as the reigning GM of the Year before we enticed him out of retirement. With him leading our movement, Vancouver is looking to turn into #Wincouver
