*Valor's Mock Draft - ValorX77 - 04-04-2020

Hello fellow simmers, it’s your favorite media writer ValorX77, back at it again with another media during this week of multiplied pay of the national Simulation Football league. Today i am going to do a 1 round mock draft of the upcoming twenty second national Simulation Football league draft, this is the largest draft class ever, beating out the super classes of the first, second, and fifteenth seasons of the national Simulation Football league.
Before we begin, we must talk about how I do things, all trades for picks before are indeed factored into this mock draft. There will be four sources I use for this. The first source is the DSFL Index of the prior season (S21), the second source is the TPE tracker, the third and fourth source are to articles by @nickyvmlp which he goes into depth about which positions teams direly need, I’ve linked his two articles, definitely a good read if you want to make your own mock draft.
NSFC needs and ASFC Needs we will be using Nicky’s 0-10 point scale, the higher the score, the more needed that selection is, the lower means they can probably address the need in a later round, and this media article will only cover the first 2 rounds, since going into the full draft would probably take at least a few days.

Round 1 Pick 1, Austin Copperheads AUS (Via Honolulu Hahalua):
Tyler Oles Jr, Cornerback, Portland Pythons.
A very easy selection here at pick number 1, as the copperheads become the winner of the oles jr sweepstakes, CB has a score of 7, the highest number on the copperheads. Oles Jr had 47 tackles, 1 for a loss of yardage, 3 interceptions, and 13 pass deflections. As of 4/4/2020, he currently sits at 215 TPE.

Round 1 Pick 2, New Orleans Second Line NOLA (Via Sarasota Sailfish):
Eddie Jeeta, Wide Receiver, Kansas City Coyotes.
Wide Receiver is a 7 on the Nicky list, second only to quarterback, which will likely be addressed in the second round of the draft, so they go for the best available WR in which is Eddie Jeeta siting at 195 TPE, let’s check his stats out. He had 59 catches for 769 receiving yards, averaging 13 yards per catch and 5 touchdowns.

Round 1 Pick 3, Arizona Outlaws ARI
Jeffrey Phillips, Tight End, Dallas BirdDogs.
A 7 on the Nicky list, Jeffrey will likely be sent down for another season to eventually replace the inactive but regressing Jammerson Irving, it’s quite easily a good idea to get as much support as possible for the young Jay Cue, his only weapons are Irving, Saba Donut, and, an inactive running back in Ruff Ruff. Let’s check his stats out shall we? Strangely I can’t find stats for him because the index has an apparent small brain, coming in at 228 TPE.

Round 1 Pick 4, Philadelphia Liberty PHI
Phat Boi, Defensive Tackle, Kansas City Coyotes
Our current highest TPE player in this gargantuan class, Phat Boi is too obvious for Philadelphia to not pass on, defensive line is a big need because the team lacks a good pass rush, and that shows with a 3-10 season. defensive line and tight end are the biggest needs in this draft for the liberty, so they go best available here. He had 23 tackles, one for a loss of yardage, and he got to the quarterback 3 times.

Round 1 Pick 5, Philadelphia Liberty PHI (Via Chicago Butchers)
Brandon Booker, Cornerback, Myrtle Beach Buccaneers
The liberty got this pick because chicago shot themselves in the foot and traded for Farley Hank and Johnson Harding. But anyway, Corner is a big need because Emoji is about to enter regression in a very shaky secondary. Let's evaluate his season with index stats, 61 tackles, one forced fumble, 2 interceptions, 11 pass deflections. Current TPE: 200

Round 1 Pick 6, San Jose Sabercats SJS
Derred de Ville, Linebacker, London Royals
Our first linebacker off the board, De Ville's name is perfect for the first european team in the simulation gridiron. LB is a big need of the sabercats because they only have brackenridge as their other linebacker. Let's review his stats. 147 tackles, 1 for a loss of yardage, 2 forced fumbles and 2 fumble recoveries, 9 sacks, 1 interception, and 8 pass deflections. Probably one of the best seasons of a non send down linebacker yet. He's currently at 205 TPE

Round 1 Pick 7, Honolulu Hahalua HON (Via Austin Copperheads)
White Goodman, Running Back, Dallas BirdDogs
Let's just say this, they need Everything, They start off by getting their future face of the franchise, in this case, we get another Sam Torenson situation, this time in White Goodman, who has probably one of the best renders in this whole league right now. Once again, it's time to analyze this player.
in 200 rushing attempts, he had 914 rushing yards, averaged 4.6 yards per carry and 6 touchdowns, pretty good for a running back on an expansion team. Current TPE: 221

Round 1 Pick 8, Colorado Yeti COL
Troen Egghands, Defensive End, Myrtle Beach Buccaneers
Our first defensive end off the board, DE is a 7 on nicky's scale, because they need someone to assist Bubba "Two Tackles A Game" Thumper, because he only has a few seasons left before the evil regression gods suck the TPE out of him. Unfortunately, we do not have any stats for this player, because of the dumb index again. Current TPE: 201

Round 1 Pick 9, Yellowknife Wraiths YKW
Matt "Son of Havoc" Cross, Safety, Norfolk Seawolves
Our first safety to come off the board, he's extremely active in the norfolk locker room, yelloknife's biggest need is safety besides Wide receiver, because Danny Grithead is an old man somehow still on the team looking to get replaced. Now time for some analysis. he got 77 tackles, one forced fumble, a sack, 3 interceptions, 3 pass deflections, a pick six, and a blocked punt. Current TPE: 200

Round 1 Pick 10, New Orleans Second Line NOLA
Ben Slothlisberger, Quarterback, Tijuana Luchadores
The first quarterback goes off the board here at pick number 10, One half of the quarterback controversy in Tijuana, missing the playoffs because of more than 1 quarterback, (I'm looking at you Minnesota). Stats analysis again... Completing 120 of 266 yards 1222 passing yards, completing 53.1 of passes and had 4 passes to 4 interceptions, with 67.4 passer rating. TPE at the moment: 184

Round 1 Pick 11, Baltimore Hawks BAL
Stanis?aw Koniecpolski, Linebacker, Dallas BirdDogs
Hey look, Majesiu's recreate! No suprise that he's one of the biggest earners of this class, but in this mock, he shockingly goes after De Ville, but the hilarious thing is that he goes to the team he faced in the ultimus with his old player! More analysis time! 140 tackles, 2 for loss, a forced fumble, a sack, an interception, and 3 pass deflections. Current TPE: 229

Round 1 Pick 12, Orange County Otters OCO
Acura Skyline, Running Back, London Royals
Our final selection of this round is none other than the guy who had their best "Leaf Impression" which is an 87 yard rushing touchdown, but he led all DSFL runningbacks in rushing yards and averaged 5 yards per carry.

It's safe to assume almost none of these picks happen

*Valor's Mock Draft - Lightnoir - 04-04-2020

I like to see the variety here! Nice having different names than we're used to seeing. If you're curious about Jeffery Philips stats I found them in the sim file. 37 rec, 424 yds, 11.5 avg, 6 TDs. Pretty good if you ask me.
