Official League Launch - Admin - 05-23-2017
Today is the day the National Simulation Football league officially launches! Thank you to everyone who signed up already and has helped get things going. Your interest has validated the excitement I have for getting this league off the ground. There is a group of people in the head office who have been an incredible help as well and this league would not be ready to launch today if not for all of your help.
First up to announce is the very first NSFL game, the All-American Bowl! This will be a prospects game coached by @princekyle and myself that will include every player who has been approved before Wednesday the 24th at 6:00pm PST. You don't need to do anything to sign up except have made a player and been approved. The actual game will take place 24 hours after the sign up cutoff on Thursday the 25th at 6:00pm PST and will be streamed via @princekyle's twitch stream. Keep an eye out for the link in the NSFL Pre Season area of the site and tune in to see what your player can do!
Next is the Draft Lottery to determine the order for the first every NSFL Draft. The lottery will take place on Friday the 26th at 6:00pm PST and will also be broadcast on @princekyle's twitch channel. If you haven't done it already make sure to do the Draft Order Prediction Point Task before the lottery to earn some TPE for your player.
The Draft Date is currently being discussed in the Head Office and we will have an official date soon. As long as we have enough users signed up it will most likely be around the start of June, possibly sooner depending on peoples schedules.
Lastly I am announcing that the Shoutbox will be closed until the site is more established in an effort to drive activity onto the forums instead of the Shoutbox. Once we have a couple of seasons under our belt and activity is rockin' then I will look at bringing it back.
