GFX battles - tlk742 - 07-12-2017 So in graphics communities there's something known as GFX battles. The way it works is pretty straightforward but I will lay it out. For designers these are the rules: 1. No premades. All creations have to be made after the battle begins. 2. No ripping work (pretty straightforward - don't steal from other artists) Here is how the process works: 1. A challenge is made. Someone either says they are looking for an opponent or challenge a specific person. 2. A challenge is accepted. Either the person finds a challenger or the one asked for agrees. 3. The terms are set. There could be a theme (i.e. football), a specific image needing to be used, or freestyle (anything goes). In addition, a timeline is set. 4. Pieces are submitted. 5. Votes are made by other viewers. Whoever has the most votes wins. We could include a purse to incentives people to battle or do a Sig of the Week contest where everyone enters and have a prize that way.
