Coming into the league I was a outspoken WR who tried getting his name out there before the draft by trying to start a fued with Bubba Thumper. I broke into his pre draft presser and accidentally took over. We actually became friends after that but don't speak as much now but he's still a good dude.
After being drafted by Nola I was ecstatic because @[Tom Hanks] was a cool dude and I'd spoken to him the most predraft. I was told they had big plans for me and the future there and we had some great young talent from the draft. After a season and a half I was traded to Chicago. I'd felt betrayed and lied to and I let the world know it. I told anyone and everyone that Nola front office would lie to your face.
Tom reached out afterwards and we hashed things out but I still resented them inside. I couldn't let it go even though it was a business move and looking back I had blame I'm it myself. Id complained about being a TE1/WR 3 even though I wasn't as good as the WRs they had.
I'd say my career has been mediocre thus far, earning two consecutive pro bowls, and I'm happy in SJS. I haven't seen the playoffs yet since turning pro but hopefully that changes. So after all this rambling I just wanna say no hard feelings towards anyone in Nola. I was just young and loud mouthed. Im not sure how many more seasons I'll play. I don't think I have a shot at the HOF and as I'm getting older why put my body through training camps and such? I'll def play out my contract I just signed in SJS and maybe another small contract after that. Either in SJS or somewhere else I don't know yet. To anyone else I've said something about, the commissioner @bex mainly, I apologise also. I was very outspoken about your dismissal or lack thereof but you've done alot for the league and I believe your doing fine. Keep it up.
