Draft Review

Tuned into the draft the other night while having a few cold ones. It gave me some insight on how the League and drafts operate, this was interesting and made me as a player hype to see my reception and impact. This is all fresh being a new face but I can tell there is potential longevity to this. Aside from a few concerns of how exactly to hone my abilities in training to be the best, I can shelve that for now. The show runners and GM's appear to be good peoples. Coming from down in the Bayou, being around voodoo mysticism it has convinced me that no one is cut and dry, so I'll be careful how I tread moving forward. I did however enjoy the banter, although my opinions are insignificant compared to how I'll try and conduct myself in the league. I made some talleys to see which high level Defensive Tackles left DSFL teams and how many from each. I stuck around through every round to be thorough and you could say the later half of them were underwhelming but it was impressive to see how much attention was spent into creating the graphics that were displaying the players and seeing what happens to those who become complacent in the DSFL or as a free agent. Not throwing shade at any players in particular, everyone should be free to create their own standards.

Scout Encounters & My Possible Future in the DSFL

I was pleasantly surprised to receive some messages from scouts of DSFL teams and was glad to answer any questions they had for me. I enjoy frivolous fun facts in tandem with brass tax that some of the scouts added into the questions they had to offer. I do have my preferences of teams I'd like to be a part of but I'll keep that to myself because I don't really know enough to make an accurate choice with my current lack of the full picture. With the narrow perspective I hold I can't say that I'd be great as a media writer immediately but with my adept nature to crunch numbers and intuit player personalities, the potential is there as further experience will broaden it. The amount of time I expect to spend in the DSFL is currently unknown to me as well, but knowing that rookie years outside of college ball are critical stepping stones for young athletes such as myself I can say that I'd like to reach big heights early in my career. I don't like sitting around, especially at games so we'll see where my full potential lies.

Not sure if I should be this candid about myself in media, time will tell where the pieces fall though; My skill sets will become more apparent there too. Before I start getting into it about dynamics that are above my paygrade I'll summate this article with a quote from a fellow DSFL draft hopeful, Tychondrius Hood "Not my chair, not my problem."
