*TVC's Week 2 Betting Odds! - thevoicelesscreator - 04-28-2020

I’m going to be doing a fun little experiment this season with odds for matches. My goal is to eventually set a standard for odds-based betting for the casino, but that’s a little further down the line. To get to these numbers, I’ve simmed these match up 300x each with strategies that I believe the teams will be running. My numbers aren’t quite exact, but I believe they are close enough. For now, I’m only going to be doing Win betting, but I hope to one day branch out into over/under score betting and player bets.

*Disclaimer*: I will not be doing the odds for the Yeti’s match-up due to conflicts in interests.

Baltimore BAL (1.25 /1) at Chicago CHI (0.80/1)

Surprisingly one of the closest matches of the Week 2, Chicago at home are the slight favorites to defend their home. Baltimore are in a sleight underdog position, but if Chika has a big day then they could easily beat the odds.

Sarasota SAR (11.5/1) at Yellowknife YKW (0.1/1)

No surprise that Sarasota are major underdogs in this game. After stealing a win against Baltimore, the Sailfish will once again have to beat all the odds to steal a win here. If you can find anyone insane enough to play the under for Sarasota, I’d take their money now.

Arizona ARI (3/1) at San Jose SJS (0.5/1)

This is the matchup I feel the least confident calling. Arizona could has the biggest darkhorse chances in my books, and even though the are 3/1 odds here, I would still take a bet on them throwing a wrench into things. The Sabercats are rather green defensively, and it could be a shootout between Wright and Cue. However, San Jose are still the obvious favourites here.

Austin AUS (1.25/1) to Honolulu HON (0.80/1)

This is the second of the close games in week 2’s matchup. Honolulu are clear on the better of the two expansion teams due to their QB situation. However, I’m not quite sure if I would actually peg them as the favourites in this matchup. Austin have a lot of quality to them, but the home field advantage is strong with these ones. I’d honestly take either side of the best for both teams, depending on the day.

Orange County OCO (1.85/1) at New Orleans NOLA (0.55/1)

I thought this match up would be closer honestly. I might still bet the under on either of these sides. Orange County are a very good squad, but NOLA are the defending champions for a reason. Expect this to be a battle of defensive juggernauts, and a low score line. That means, this could realistically be decided by a field goal. However, through testing, the favourites are New Orleans.
