NSFL Great War Reborn - Oles - 05-01-2020
Recently I started looking at stuff that happened in the past of the NSFL. One such thing was a game by the name of diplomacy, ran by @Kronen way back when i was still pretty new to the league. I remember this being extremely enjoyable and with more games becoming a thing in the NSFL that are outside of the NSFL (werewolf is the main example, jackbox to a lesser extent), I figured it'd be a perfect time to bring back this game. I barely remember anything about it, but decided to run a game and hope I don't mess everything up. This will be version two of the NSFL Great War.

Kronen's post, as listed here, gives a better rundown of the game than I ever could, and even shows some of the events that happened in our original game. Give it a read, understand what is happening and be ready for a game that takes a good bit of time, this game will most likely last a few weeks. Be prepared to play for a while. You will not know each other in game, you will only see the other countries. I will not divulge who is playing as what country, but other players may say they are a certain player. This is fine, but there will be 0 confirmation as to whether that is actually the case.
There is an ingame messaging system, which you will use in order to message other players. There will also be a discord server for the game, where you can ask me questions and have a way to communicate outside of the game with me. I do this so we don't have to clutter up discord dms, and I feel like discord is checked more often than the site would be.
The first turn will be 2 days, with every turn after being 1 day, with adjudication happening at 6pm EST. I can change that if all players decide on a different time, but the turn length will stay the same, going 24 hours.

The game will start on monday if enough people want to participate. If we have more than 7 people sign up, I will randomize who plays, it will not be first come first serve, but if enough people sign up I could run multiple games. Sign ups will end on Saturday at 6pm, which is in line with when adjudication will happen. Countries will also be randomly assigned, so do not ask me for a specific country or anything of the sort. The game will take place on backstabbr, so make an account and feel free to mess around with the sandbox to learn and understand before the game starts.
