The S21 DSFL draft is well behind us, so I thought it would be fun to see how the wide receivers from the largest DSFL draft class are doing today. There were 32 wide receivers drafted in the S21 DSFL Draft.

Pick 13 - Eddie Jeeta - KCC (Playing for AUS) - 354 TPE

Pick 30 - Kevin Koh - NOR - 154 TPE (IA)

Pick 36 - Thomas Passmann - TIJ (Playing for ARI) - 333 TPE

Pick 40 - William Alexander - MIN (Playing for HON) - 344 TPE

Pick 46 - William Lim - DAL (Playing for COL) - 354 TPE

Pick 50 - Susan Cash Jr. - LON - 314 TPE

Pick 53 - Michael Witheblock - KCC (Playing for SAR) - 359 TPE

Pick 68 - Friedrich Vequain - TIJ - 198 TPE

Pick 79 - Garfield Despacito Jr. - BBB - 283 TPE

Pick 81 - Mike Lee - DAL - 318 TPE

Pick 89 - Blake Alexander - LON - 74 TPE (IA)

Pick 101 - Tan Johnson - KCC - 119 TPE (IA)

Pick 115 - Cal Cutta - POR (Released) 57 TPE (IA)

Pick 134 - Ronan Briscoe - NOR - 69 TPE (Technically IA)

Pick 171 - DeSean Hill - DAL - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 173 - Curious George - KCC - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 176 - Henry Saxe-Coburg-Gotha - LON - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 188 - Logan Marshall - TIJ (Released) - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 192 - Donovan Smith - MIN (Released) - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 204 - Terrell Brister Jr. - TIJ (Released) - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 208 - Daymond Brooks - MIN - 218 TPE

Pick 209 - Scott Scott - DAL - (Released) - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 210 - Steve Alvarado - LON - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 215 - Bobby Black - BBB (Released) - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 217 - Tyler Curtis - LON - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 231 - Bryant Moreland - BBB - 50 TPE (IA)

Pick 239 - Nathan Bigelow - NOR - 50 TPE (IA)

For the most part, there's nothing too unusual to report. 17 of these wide receivers have remained active, meaning more than half of them have dropped off the face of our little world.

The biggest surprises here is probably the Norfolk Seawolves losing their third pick (30th overall in the 4th round) Kevin Koh to inactivity. Hopefully he comes back but he hasn't been seen in over a month. That has to sting for Norfolk. The other big surprise from this class of receivers is Daymond Brooks at 218 TPE after being drafted after 11 players who have gone inactive. Other than Koh, the rest of the first ten receivers have been drafted have remained active. Seven of the first ten receivers have already hit over 300 TPE. Five of those receivers have already been called up to the NSFL. Susan Cash Jr. and Mike Lee will likely be on their NSFL squads next season. Daymond Brooks, who currently leads the DSFL in receiving touchdowns also has a decent chance of making the NSFL next season.

Final verdict:

This was a huge draft class, so not every player can pan out. However, most of the teams that picked receivers within the first 11 rounds hit big here. These teams should be proud they were able to snag quality players so deep in a massive draft class.

Not sure if I'm supposed to be offended or not. Leeroy Jenkins was technically drafted as a LB but converted to WR right after the draft. Pick 127 now with 289 TPE. Absolute steal of the draft.

I wish I knew this! That is fantastic.

Blake Alexander isn't IA, he just only updates like once a season.
