and the New Orleans Second Line are proud to announce a new update and induct two more players into the New Orleans Second Line Team Hall of Fame.
The team is proud to announce the following two new inductees:
WR Dustin Evans - @AsylumParty
While Dustin Evans was not initially put in when we first established this, we realized our mistake in the meantime. Dustin Evans was a dominant wide receiver for the New Orleans Second Line franchise (he played most of his time with the Las Vegas Legion still). He only played five seasons with the team, but he stood out in those seasons, including having three of the best four seasons in NOLA history in receiving yards. Career wise he ranks 4th in catches, 2nd in yards, 1st in receiving yard average, 5th in receiving touchdowns. In 5 seasons with the team, he averaged a dominant 73 catches, 1307 yards and 6 touchdowns.

LB Johnny Slothface - @slothfacekilla
A much more recent addition to the NOLA history, our very own Sloth was a fantastic cornerstone of the "new guard" of the team. Slothface spent his entire career with the team, racking up great defensive stats all over the place. He is in the top 10 of most career statistics on defense, with the personal highlight being that he leads the NOLA franchise in career sacks with 49. He was a big part of our season 21 championship and managed to win that title in his last season before a well deserved retirement.
Congratulations to both of you! You join an illustrious club of players and can be proud of your accomplishments!

I was in class when I saw this initially, so I couldn't say anything then, but ya'll, I'm too psyched about this. NOLA years were the best years for Dustin Evans. Super grateful for the honor

Character is something that doesn't show up in the stat books. I had the privilege of playing with Sloth for a couple seasons and he is HoF caliber in every sense of the word. Congrats to Asylum as well! It's been great getting to know you the last couple of months in Tijuana.
