*USA vs The World: Games Announced - Thor - 05-19-2020

With the rosters being announced and the players and audience getting excited, it is time to bring to you the date for the inaugural edition of the USA vs The World game.

Barring any unforeseen and unavoidable setbacks, the game is scheduled to take place on Sunday the 24th of May at 8PM ET or 5pm PT.

To ensure a fair and balanced series, there will be two games played, one on Team USA's turf at Centurylink Field in Seattle WA — the teams will then immediately be loaded into a fleet of waiting helicopters to travel and play the second follow-up game right away on Team World's turf at BC Place, Vancouver CA. The organizers of these exhibition games have such a significant number of pre-sales already, leading them to believe this game will be a sellout in both stadiums — an unprecedented accomplishment.

Both Team USA and Team World have now secured General managers who are preparing rosters and depth charts to take their team into battle.

Team USA will be led and organised by @iStegosauruz. The current GM of the Dallas Bird dogs and simulation expert takes time out of his busy schedule with the aim of leading the USA to victory in a game which they're (albeit narrowly) the current favorites. With such a deep and extensive roster, there's no telling which way he'll take the team strategy, and we can't wait to find out what is in store!

The challengers for this game, Team World, have long time NSFL member @Daybe at the helm — while he has not held a management position for a time, Daybe has heritage to back him up having been on the management team of the Yellowknife Wraiths, Colorado Yeti and the Portland Pythons in his history with the league. He looks to bring experience and wisdom to a generally young Team World, and may have more time to dedicate to the cause without holding a current management role. While it may seem on the surface that he has a less talented team to work with, there are some areas with a great amount of depth on this team and using this to their advantage will be the key to Team World coming away with a victory.

I'd like to take this opportunity to publicly thank both the managers involved and wish them the best of luck in this endeavor!

This game will be available to stream on YouTube and hopes to be announced for presentation through all the regular channels.
